I have had this range for a modest over two years and I am an avid cook. In fact I am a brand ambassador for an online cooking site and I test, rate and assess recipes constantly. After reading the before reviews, I am hesitant to give a good assess. I knocked wood, so here I go. First of all, I will agree with some of the complaints. The right front and left rear burners are not commanding, but I do find them handy for slow simmers. I do brush up hostile to the electronic panel on occasion and consequently the cue lights for various operations will come up. I just hit the cancel pin since I am used to it now. I have been very pleased with the oven. I love to bake. The love on mine, runs consistently accurate and it is very roomy. All that being said, I think customer benefit for all Vortex manufactured lines, Counting KitchenAid suck. I bought a matching french door frig. and dishwasher that have had some issues. I did buy an extended warranty thank god, cuz the dishwasher has been a relentless conundrum. I have everlastingly put KitchenAid dishwashers in my homes and I everlastingly loved them. This one has been my waterloo however. The excuses I have expected from the benefit techs is that these harvest are made in Mexico now. I don't know where they make them, but I do know that their customer benefit is right here in the USA and they don't give a flip about the problems of their customers. Shameful indeed.

Last summer we purchased a KitchenAid KDS907 stove. From day one, we have had a problem getting the oven to ignite. The oven will eventually ignite, in about 20 min, after you go through a number of Initiation/Stop sequences, but by that time you have a distinct untreated gas smell in the kitchen. We have had about 5 visits from the local KitchenAid service representatives. Before Christmas, they promised to instal a new igniter and approximately other parts but to date, despite numerous phone calls, that has not happened. We are now in month six of the stove repair saga with no end in sight. KitchenAid used to be a reputable brand but from these problems all I can conclude is that they just don't care anymore. KitchenAid does produce approximately very good products, but this stove is not one of them.

We purchased this range three months ago. The three major requirements when searching for the range were, 1) at least one generous burner for generous fry pans or roasting pans, 2) an easy-to-clean cook top, and 3) a generous oven. We found all three including this range. However! We did not realize that the pans would sit so high off the burners that enough heat would escape to slow the cooking process and set off the high temperature fan on the microwave every time we cook. This never happened including the previous range. It doesn't topic which burner we use, whether the generous ones or small. It's also annoying to stand over the pan trying to stir the contents - enough heat comes out around the pan to make it difficult to stir items that need continuous attention.

My wife and I have had our Kitchen Aid duel fuel range (KDSS907SSS) for about a week and while we've not yet used the oven we have used the gas-stove top.I read a digit of negative reviews of this oven. The three main heartburn I've read are 1) about the low BTU output on the aptly front gas burner, 2) that the control panel buttons can easily be pushed if you brush up hostile to the panel, and 3) something about the oven venting on one feature of the entrance and that this causes the oven entrance handle to get on to too hot (and something about water condensation building up and then dripping down the front of the oven entrance).I cannot offer any feedback about #3 above since we have yet to use the oven, but I can caution you that the first two complaints programmed above have merit.The control panel is "extremely touchy" and I've inadvertently hit various settings by brushing my decrease torso hostile to the panel when reaching up high above the oven. But I suppose I can get on to used to that.But I am extremely concerned about the low BTUs starting the front aptly burner and the rear left burner. I just ran an experiment to test this made known (and filmed it for eventual posting on YouTube) in the following manner:I took 4 standard small kitchen pots and put 1 inch of water into each of them. I then lit each of the 4 burners and set each burner to high. I put a pot (with 1 inch of water in it) on each burner and started the timer. And in case you are wondering, I be in this world in California at about 50 ft. above sea level.As I expected, surrounded by a few minutes the powerful burner in the front left position brought the water to a boil. The rear aptly burner (the second most powerful burner) achieved a boil next. I'm not despondent with the performance of either of these burners.The left rear and aptly front burners (which in cooperation have the same BTU rating) took much longer to achieve a gentle rolling boil (I'm not flush sure I could call it a boil... there were a few streams of bubbles coming up starting the bottom by the time I ended the experiment, but I don't know if I'd classify that as a "boil"). It took 15 minutes for the left rear burner to achieve this, and over 16 minutes for the aptly front burner to achieve this.Pretty disappointing. We switched starting thrilling to gas with the thought that we would get on to instant excitement with the gas-stove top. Well, we get on to instant excitement all aptly, just not enough excitement to boil 1 inch of water in a saucepot.

This array was in our home when we purchased it. Beware...less than 3 being old and it has ongoing on fire three era in six months. I reconcile it is a bad top for an oven. The bottom is now a well-cooked mess, and the safety sphere at kitchenaid didn't seem to be too worried. Don't buy this overpriced boat glue.

We purchased this kitchenaid range two being ago when we built our household. We wanted a range with a gas stovetop and an electric oven. This unit appeared to fit the bill perfectly, and we had always been pleased with our kitchenaid mixer.Ownership of this monster has been a nightmare. It broke within the first couple of weeks. The oven just blinked an "error" message on the screen. Fixing it the first time took MANY months. While this first set of problems was covered under warranty, it required a name to stay home from work to let the repairman in. It took at least a dozen visits from the repair shop before it was finally working.Just last week the heating element went out in the oven. This is a oven barely two being old. Again, it was to some extent of an ordeal to get it flat, and this time it was not under warranty.When you read the brochure, this range has all the bells and whistles you could possibly want. The problem is that in view of the fact that we have had it it seems like it has been broken more than it has been working.The range is poorly engineered, and has terrible reliability. Run, while you still can!
