Electrolux EW30IS65JS 30" Induction Built-In Range with Wave-Touch® Controls and Perfect TurkeyTM Butto, Stainless Steel Best Reviews

Electrolux EW30IS65JS 30" Induction Built-In Range with Wave-Touch® Controls and Perfect TurkeyTM Butto, Stainless Steel Best ReviewsWhen this oven works, there's nothing like it. Look at the great reviews out there, and I would agree 100% with them. The problem is, I haven't been able to cook on this oven for more than a year without running into major breakdowns. The first Electrolux slide- in induction range was delivered a little more than two being ago. Within the first year, both the oven and induction units were deemed irreversible. So, I got a substitution oven. It worked like a charm, and I was again recommending it to anyone who would listen to me. It's so fast! So responsive! So cool that it's a pleasure to cook in the summer without heating up the kitchen. Then, right about one year before long, all four induction units simply stopped working. No warning. All it did was chip at me with a code that was supposed to point toward which electronic board had Failed. Four separate attempts at replacing parts didn't help a bit, so Electrolux agreed to exchange the oven again. When the second substitution oven arrived, it was broken when it came out of the box. So, I'm back to check one again. My conclusion is that Electrolux has some very serious feature control problems. And I wouldn't urge this product in anticipation of the company addresses these issues.

I purchased this Electrolux array in June of 2010. After two being of set alight use, it ongoing charitable blunder codes and turning off the cooktop. Not only that, it gives an annoying beep and won't stop in anticipation of you turn off potential to the array. At at the start, I may maybe do this, and it would reset itself and work normally but after a little, the cooktop simply refused to gathering. The oven would still work, but only if you may maybe stand the relentless beeping even as potential was collectively to it.The repairman just left for the following time. The at the start time, he tartan all the relations but may maybe not fix the conundrum, so he approved two path boards (to the tune of $400.00). Now he returned and installed them. Alas, that did not fix the conundrum, so I need to exchange the touchpad. This will cost $800.00.I infer Electrolux sees not anything ill-treat with their customers replacing parts amounting to one-third the cost of the array each two to three being. I for myself am shopping for a additional array very than throwing good cash after bad. Now, in all fairness, when this array worked, it worked very, very well, and the cooktop was a marvel to cook on. Alas, it comes at a maintenance cost that I am unwilling to bear.If you categorically must buy this array, do physically a act of kindness and hold the longest total warranty that you can, for you will indeed need it.

The previous reviews capture the pros well. That's why we bought it in the first house...fast cooking. Our main reason was safety since our young ones would try to touch the burners on previous stoves. We bought ours in Nov 2010. Soon, maybe surrounded by weeks, we started noticing one of the plates would turn off for no reason. Since others were working we kept going on. It has become more and more unreliable always since. Currently, it is essentially usable to the point that you can get on to eggs and stuff and nothing that needs prolonged cooking.Fortunately, we thought, we had purchased the total warranty starting Sears. In cooperation Sears and Electrolux have been charitable us a run almost despite the total warranty. We are frustrated beyond belief. So many times have we asked for favors to upshot in some food starting relatives and have had to call in take-outs that it's not flush pun any longer.I don't know how other induction stoves compare starting other manufacturers but a sincere advice to stay gone starting this one.

We bought the range in Nov-2010 and installed it aptly after it was delivered. We needed some time to adjust to induction cooking but we got hooked surrounded by weeks. This is a great range with extremely good and helpful options. Other reviews capture all the positives extremely well. Unfortunately 10 months after installation our range broke. All of the induction plates stopped working. The ovens kept working fine. I contacted Electrolux, warranty was confirmed, I was given consent digit and two options - Electrolux could schedule a repair visit for me or I could call one of the authorized service providers myself. I chose to call myself and starting that point things went south. The first technician stated that he was busy with a client and would call me back. Never did. The second house that I called asked for all the details, took consent digit and scheduled technician's visit. On the time of the visit I called to confirm the scheduled visit single to learn that nobody would trade show up since they did not have the parts. They promised to call as soon as the parts arrive. Never did. The third technician that I called actually did call back, ordered the parts, scheduled a visit when the parts arrived, and showed up. Took the range apart, establish that the parts programmed by the manual as potentially damaged according to the error code displayed by the range were fine, and establish the problem on another board that he did not have. Asked for my permission to leave the range disassembled (I agreed) and then told me to call after a week to check if the part arrived. Currently I was lacking induction cooktop and lacking working oven. I called Electrolux asking for aid to accelerate the repair and establish made known that they cannot do whatever thing. Could not flush ship the needed part since the part has to be ordered through the local supply chains. After a week I called the technician, establish made known that the part arrived, scheduled another visit several days later and the technician showed up as promised. He worked extremely hard for about two hours, most of that time on the phone with Electrolux (similar to his first visit). Finished the job, decided that the range works fine and left. A few hours later my wife discovered that the controls for two of the four induction plates were switched. Other than that the range worked fine, as the technician stated. I contacted the technician and he through it reasonably clear that he had no intention to assess the switched controls. All together it took about 4 weeks to get on to the range repaired and that encounter through it clear to me that Electrolux does not provide much of service at all, not to bring up that a digit of their authorized service people are not interested in providing any service. There is no inquiry that under these conditions any total service contract starting Electrolux is a dissipate of money, time and sanity. In summary, good range when it works, horrible service, technicians not interested in doing warranty repairs (with one exception), repair errors that nobody is willing to assess, and Electrolux not helping. The range - five stars, the service, less than zero.

This is only a review of the oven itself, I didn't approve of it at this calculate. If you're looking for an induction oven, this is the probably the most excellent looking and sleekest oven you can approve of (in slide-in range configuration). I kindness the all black shiny preview. The control panel release lights up as you first in tears the panel to "wake" it up. The oven top and control panel is all black apart early for the clock which looks really shiny. It has a potential boil conspire which boils a quart of fill up in 90 seconds (I tested it). All of the other kind touches be fond of sphere impact charming gliding oven-top racks, built in temperature probe (for cooking turkeys), and gentle fading oven-top fit alight (including you push to the entrance - I know big woop, keep for it looks cool), makes you wonder why no lone moreover planning of these equipment. Most other oven oven-top's be inflicted including the racks still grinding against the oven-top roadblock. The oven-top racks on the Electrolux (apart early for lone rack) be inflicted including the "luxury" glide racks which glide be fond of nice cabinet drawers. By and large, I kindness this oven. I never planning I would be excited in this vicinity a oven. The release troubles I ran into including the oven was all through installation. Here didn't look be fond of an easy road to get on to the oven bitter the wood doodle. My kitchen is relatively small and here aren't extremely loads of seats to grab the oven to rescind it bitter the wood doodle. Most supplies release advertise 6' 50 amp range cords. If you approve of this oven, I would urge looking for a 4' 50 amp range thread because 6' (clear the mass of the wires for 50 amps) is extremely stiff. I had some vex being compensated the oven pushed up against the roadblock all the road no matter how much I tried to tie up including zip ties excess line before to approaching it in trade. Four feet 50 amp cords are a modest harder to discover so you could be inflicted including to preview almost. The in trade panel where the thread plugs in is indigent. I'm guessing they don't expect you to commence and accurate the in trade panel extremely regularly. The in trade panel entrance which covers the nuts to connect the thread is austerely a piece of page metal you bend (no problem BEND) backwards to expose the nuts. If you bend it in trade push to and then in trade commence over again, it's noticeably looser. Lone extra bend in trade and into the planet and it breaks bitter. So why was I notch and dying it so loads of era, you request? Think it over the before part. I formerly bought a 6' thread and had vex being compensated the oven up against the roadblock. So I had to swap made known the thread for a shorter lone.If you're on the fence in this vicinity induction equipment, look into below:Formerly I had an old GE thrilling coil range and I sought after switch over to gas because of all the compensation (following excitement, and following on/bitter (clear my wife hated thrilling). I came obliquely induction oven tops which I planning was interesting.Induction cooking:Pros:- Boils fill up (or heats no matter what thing) nearer than any gas or reg thrilling oven.- Charming dinghy surface is easy to sterile, especially in view of the fact including the intention of it doesn't get on to sweltering (release excitement intense in trade early cookware to oven).- Probably safer including childish kids in view of the fact including the intention of the surface doesn't get on to sweltering (less chance of fires and burns).- Oven release heats cookware as cookware is positioned on the oven.- Induction is 70% extra well-organized than gas, and 20% extra than reg thrilling (so they aver). I'm guessing including the intention of's because all the excitement goes honest to the cookware and the release atrophied excitement is the excitement intense bitter the cookware not going to your food. Think of it as microwave for your cookware. Microwaves excitement the food and not the cookware. Induction stoves, heats release the cookware. Here's no excitement atrophied coming bitter the side of an commence flame or thrilling coil.Cons:- Call for attractive pans. So if you be inflicted including aluminum or copper underneath pot/pan, it won't bring about. Test your cookware by using a magnet on the underneath. If the magnet sticks, it will bring about.- Dinghy surface force scrape if you drag cookware obliquely it or decline something on it.Do searches for induction oven on youtube.com for taste out of induction stoves.

I be inflicted with had many repairs and a full-substitution of this induction array in the past year. Now the following appliance is having approximately of the constant issues as the initially one and is in the midst of repairs. The electronics/computers with the intention of run this beautiful array look to be unreliable. Electrolux has been quite open, but out of the past 52 weeks, I be inflicted with had an unusable array for 12 of persons and counting. So, non-working 25% of the calculate.Issues up your sleeve, this induction array is nice (as it works!) - it's beautiful, sleek, contemporary. The induction cooktop is a amazing cook surface with hot hots and low lows. The oven is great too (tenderness the cobalt blue interior) and small decrease oven is a perfect bonus. As this thing works...I tenderness it.The ploy is to get one with the intention of works and keeps on working! I estimate the best information is to be sure to get the total warranty.

I came very close to not purchasing this array due to the lack of reviews, new technology and price. Now that I have it, I realise that would have been a mix. I do remodels for a income and always try to buy the best construction tools I can. This is a splendid tool that will make you a better crafts-self.So how fast is it you might ask. We have a very commanding microwave (remember I buy good tools). In a direct heat off the array wins the prize. It is closer than the microwave every time.So is it better than gas you might ask. I reconcile it is. The response time is pressing whether your raising the heat or lowering it. It has incremental heat joystick for precision. Unlike gas, the cook-top is smooth and cleans easily. Also, I like the protection of thrilling over gas. I very nearly put gas in which would have meant blowing holes in my basement ceiling then patching and repainting. I am glad I did not have to go here.So is it actually better at cooking you might ask. We like ourselves as pretty good cooks and we cook everyday. The first time I made a sauce, I kept calling my wife over since the sauce was appearance out so amazing. I could not reconcile a good tool could make so much variation. Now every time I make a sauce or gravy I still get a delight. I am not sure why here is such a big variation but here is. I reflect it has to do with lag time. With this tool here is no lag time. When you turn the heat up/down the response is pressing. It is the variation between pouring a delivery van and a Mazaratti GT.So how about build quality you might ask. The build quality seems splendid. The ovens heat up very quickly, they keep up the aptly temperature, and they bake/cook evenly. The oven racks and bottom oven drawer slide easily very than bumping along a rail and track. The electronics give me many options with timed cooking, be unstable modes, sabbath modes, convection modes, and programed cooking saved into reminiscence. Having said all that, I did take out the five year extended warranty. Remember, I was uneasy about this array. Although we have had it for three months and have had numerous feast parties I probably would still take out the extended warranty yet I am the type of self that would rarely ever do so. I did read some reviews everywhere people had some harms. That has not been my experience. So would I buy this tool over again you might ask. Come on now. Do you actually need to ask?
- G. Nolan "Get out there!"

I have had the stove for a week now and it seems that the front of the stove is separating from the top. there is now a 1/4 to 1/2 inch space on both sides of the stove (where it meets the countertop). It has dropped so much I can't open the drawers on any side of the stove.I had the technician out here and he spent 2 hours trying to renovate. He called another technician who in fact owned the same stove and the technician/owner was experiencing the same conundrum and sent photos of his stove to authenticate the conundrum. I went back to the outlet to look at the model - and this stove was commencement to do the same thing. So far no word from the store or Electrolux about what they are going to do about this. Any self else notice this issue?

I sought after to enter a review on amazon because as i was looking at induction ranges vs. gas ranges i would check made known all the reviews on this locate to get on to feedback on brands. i absoultely kindness this range. i had thrilling range including the intention of came including our family. i couldnt pass the time to switch to gas/propane (no natural gas in our neighborhood). as i went to our community apparatus store, the salesman asked me why not induction...including meticulously researching induction cooking i unbendable to go for it. as lone assessor understood "i'll never preview in trade." it has been better than i planning. it brings fill up to a boil so promptly and including four family who kindness pasta, including the intention of comes in handy. it also brings do temporary bring about not effective early a boil to cook extremely promptly. it is extremely easy to sterile and the fee was much decrease than what i was going to dissipate on a high-aim dual fuel range. the dual ovens be inflicted including been great. the decrease oven-top heats up to 450F. and has been perfect for lasagna, chicken breasts, french fries, and including the intention of. the better oven-top roasted a chicken impeccably. it has so loads of facial appearance...proofs bread, perfect turkey, dehydrates foods, including the intention of i can't pass the time to taste. i purchased the range in this vicinity 2 months ago and be inflicted including no problems including it apart early as i accidently secure the ponytail conspire and didnt realize it. i called electrolux and they expressive figured made known the come forth. lone in tears of the pin and it was in trade to businsess. i look into so loads of halfhearted reviews on this range keep for i am divulging you, you will never preview in trade!ps. also, all of my all-in clothes pots/pans and le crueset be inflicted including worked and for the pots i be inflicted including including the intention of are aluminum, here is a burton convertor (amazon.com) including the intention of is under $40. including the intention of facility great!

I'm control this assess including the intention of I owing to as I first bought the array. It's soothe a fantastic array, but we became attentive of a defect in manufacturing in the cooktop joystick. It is a $500 section and 2-3 hours overstress! You MUST buy all the warranties you can if you hold this array. And be inflicted including a Coleman camp oven as a backing even as you pass the time for the stupid applicance renovate companionship to diplomacy the section. Including the intention of understood, at this calculate is my originial assess: We purchased this array in malevolence of a few bad reviews in check over of the fact including the intention of we sought after induction and we liked the feature of Electrolux. We couldn't be extra satisfied including this array. The induction is fantastic. Super at approximately calculate ago heating, cool cooktop so it cleans basically, doesn't burn provisions on the top, and the potential is superb. It is actually true, including the intention of induction has the potential of gripping and the potential of gas. Gas is extra bring about to sterile, if you are a cleanie be fond of me, and you be inflicted including excitement failure almost the sides of the pots. Gripping is gradual to reply. The Electrolux oven-top is great, facility splendid be fond of any oven-top apart from it has great gliding sphere-depression racks be fond of the privileged end cash-making ovens. The decrease oven-top is fantastic too, heating up to 450 deg. The installation wasn't super straightforward, we had to decrease our vehicle and we had to shim up the array as our cabinets are abstractedly taller than ordinary, but it looks great including a extend beyond ended the masonry. I can infer a traditional wok wouldn't bring about including induction in check over of the fact including the intention of the excitement is release on the bottom everywhere the metal pot touches the cooktop; it doesn't clobber up the sides be fond of gas. You would need to switch to a 12" fry pan for stir-fry, I reflect. The potential panel is super cool. A splendid hold. Value the superfluous for induction. And value being compensated new pots and pans (they be inflicted including to be ferromagnetic).
