Hayden Panettiere reportedly pregnant with Wladimir Klitschko's baby

Hayden Panettiere is reportedly pregnant, expecting a baby with fiance Wladimir Klitschko, and if the past is any indication, she'll take her sweet time before confirming the good news.

"Hayden is totally pregnant!," a source told Us Weekly for a story published Wednesday.

News broke in March 2013 that the couple, who have been off and on since 2009, were engaged. The "Heroes" and "Nashville" actress, however, didn't bother to confirm her affianced status until a visit to "Live! With Kelly and Michael" in October.

The way Klitschko proposed was"very sweet and simple and genuine," she told Brides magazine recently (via People).

The two had broken up for about a year in the middle of their time together, saying it was difficult to have a relationship between two continents, but she went public with their reunion early last year.

Babies appear to have been on the actress-singer's mind for a while.

"Ive lived a very big life, and I dont feel my age, and I feel like I was born to be a mother. ... Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing, and theres nothing that I feel like I cant accomplish while having children in my life," she told Glamour in May 2013. "I would sacrifice having more years of being wherever I want whenever I want for years with my kids."

As for a wedding, don't expect one soon: "Everything thats happening in Ukraine definitely put a hold on things," Panettiere told Parade in a May interview. "But we have time."

Her fiance's 42-year-old brother, Vitali Klitschko, was just elected mayor of Kiev. He ran in tandem with chocolate billionaire Petro Poroshenko, who on Sunday declared victory in Ukraine's presidential race.

Why Google may be buying Twitch

Twitch's iPad app lets users choose from a menu of popular mobile games.
  • Reports say Google's YouTube is in talks to buy Twitch
  • Twitch is a website that focuses on live-streaming video games
  • It has quietly amassed a huge audience in a short time
  • Analyst says move would let Google eliminate competition

(CNN) -- If YouTube is really on the verge of buying video game-streaming website Twitch, there's at least one reason behind the move that's as old as business itself: eliminating the competition.

Little known outside the gaming world, Twitch has quietly skyrocketed, claiming 43 million monthly users just three years after it launched. Those users, Twitch says, watch an hour-and-a-half of video a day, much of it live coverage of things like video game competitions and other players working their way through new games.

As it turns out, watching people play video games is a big deal on the Web. At YouTube, which is owned by Google, some players have amassed follower bases of more than 1 million people by posting video of themselves gaming.

So when an upstart like Twitch comes along, analysts say, it makes sense for Google to act.

"For Google, this is a defensive measure as much as it is anything else," said James McQuivey, a technology analyst with Forrester Research. "Google found early on with YouTube that play-throughs of video games were a huge traffic draw. If you don't watch those videos, you don't even know they exist on YouTube. But for people who watch them, that's all they see."

On Sunday, both the Wall Street Journal and Variety were reporting that YouTube is in talks to buy Twitch for more than $1 billion. Neither company was commenting publicly on Monday. Microsoft and Amazon are among several other companies who were reportedly trying to purchase the site.

More than just a place to stream video, Twitch has also succeeded at becoming a social network of sorts, McQuivey said. Comments are integrated into the site's videos, letting viewers talk with each other, or even the players themselves, as they watch.

"It's no longer just wanting to see how someone defeated the boss on Level 5," he said. "It's having that social experience and the comradeship of fellow gamers. Twitch has nailed that and if you're Google, you realize that people watching stale old videos ... that's going to dry up."

And on the Internet, traffic means money. Advertisers like live events because of the level of excitement they create and the fact that they can reach a target audience all at once, McQuivey said.

Twitch made headlines in February when a version of "Pokemon Red/Blue," a 1990s game for Nintendo's Game Boy, streamed on the online video platform for days, allowing more than 80,000 people to play simultaneously.

For Twitch, the appeal of an eight-figure deal (aside from the eight figures) would be gaining Google's arguably unrivaled resources to support and expand its site. In some ways, Twitch's massive growth in a short time has been a blessing and a curse.

Twitch generates more traffic than HBO Go in the United States and has tripled the amount of bandwidth it uses in the past year, according to Sandvine, a networking-equipment company.

"To be quite honest, we can't keep up with the growth," Twitch Vice President Matt DiPietro told The Verge last year. "That's a good problem to have."

Add Google to the mix, and that problem disappears.

"I think the whole concept started as a social experiment," McQuivey said. "It became a commercial business so rapidly that they weren't prepared and they didn't have the resources ... . When Google wants to care about the outcome of your business ... it ends up being a really good deal."

In this way, it's not unlike Facebook's recent purchase of Oculus VR, which gave that upstart maker of virtual-reality headsets access to Facebook's vast resources and user base.

Regardless of the outcome of this deal, McQuivey says live streaming is something YouTube is going to have to figure out. Increasingly, the entertainment industry is using live TV events -- from "The Sound of Music" to live voting on "The Voice" -- to attract viewers who have become increasingly spoiled by the overabundance of digital media at their disposal.

"The next thing you're going to have to get into is live-streaming your high school football game or you trying to conquer a new rail with your skateboard," McQuivey said. "If you can get into a world where someone wants to show off that they're better on the half-pipe than anybody else in the world, you could have a couple thousand people watching live to see if you can pull off that back flip."

International outrage grows for Sudanese woman sentenced to death for apostasy

International outrage is mounting over the death sentence a Sudanese judge ordered for the pregnant wife of an American citizen all because she refuses to renounce her Christian faith.

Meriam Ibrahim, 26, was sentenced Thursday after being convicted of apostasy. The court in Khartoum ruled that Ibrahim must give birth and nurse her baby before being executed, but must receive 100 lashes immediately after having her baby for adultery for having relations with her Christian husband. Ibrahim, a physician and the daughter of a Christian mother and a Muslim father who abandoned the family as a child, could have spared herself death by hanging simply by renouncing her faith.

"We gave you three days to recant but you insist on not returning to Islam," Judge Abbas Khalifa told Ibrahim, according to AFP. "I sentence you to be hanged to death."

But Ibrahim held firm to her beliefs.

I was never a Muslim, she answered. I was raised a Christian from the start.

Ibrahim was raised in the Christian faith by her mother, an Orthodox Christian from Ethiopia. She is married to Daniel Wani, a Christian from southern Sudan who has U.S. citizenship, according to sources who spoke on condition of anonymity.

"I was never a Muslim. I was raised a Christian from the start."

- Meriam Ibrahim

The cruel sentence drew condemnation from Amnesty International, the U.S. State Department and U.S. lawmakers.

The refusal of the government of Sudan to allow religious freedom was one of the reasons for Sudans long civil war, Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., chairman of the House congressional panel that oversees U.S. policy in Africa, said in a statement. The U.S. and the rest of the international community must demand Sudan reverse this sentence immediately.

Amnesty International called the sentence a flagrant breach of international human rights law and the U.S. State Department said it was deeply disturbed by the ruling, which will be appealed.

Khalifa refused to hear key testimony and ignored Sudan's constitutional provisions on freedom of worship and equality among citizens, according to Ibrahim's attorney Al-Shareef Ali al-Shareef Mohammed.

The judge has exceeded his mandate when he ruled that Meriams marriage was void because her husband was out of her faith, Mohammed told The Associated Press. He was thinking more of Islamic Shariah laws than of the countrys laws and its constitution.

Ibrahim and Wani married in a formal ceremony in 2011 and have an 18-month-old son, Martin, who is with her in jail. The couple operate several businesses, including a farm, south of Khartoum, the countrys capital. Wani fled to the United States as a child to escape the civil war in southern Sudan, but later returned. He is not permitted to have custody of the little boy, because the boy is considered Muslim and cannot be raised by a Christian man.

Sudans penal code criminalizes the conversion of Muslims into other religions, which is punishable by death. Muslim women in Sudan are further prohibited from marrying non-Muslims, although Muslim men are permitted to marry outside their faith. Children, by law, must follow their fathers religion.

Islamic Shariah laws were introduced in Sudan in the early 1980s under the rule of autocrat Jaafar Nimeiri, whose decision led to the resumption of an insurgency in the mostly animist and Christian south of Sudan. An earlier round of civil war lasted 17 years, ending in 1972. In 2011, the south seceded to become the worlds newest nation, South Sudan.

Sudanese President Omar Bashir, an Islamist who seized power during a 1989 military coup, said his county will implement Islam more strictly now that the non-Muslim south is gone. A number of Sudanese have been convicted of apostasy in recent years, but they have all escaped execution by recanting their faith. Religious thinker and politican Mahmoud Mohammed Taha a vocal critic of Nimeiri was sentenced to death after his conviction of apostasy and was executed at the age of 76 in 1985.

Ibrahims case first came to the attention of authorities in August, when members of her fathers family complained that she was born a Muslim but married a Christian man. They claimed her birth name was Afdal before she changed it to Meriam. The document produced by relatives to indicate she was given a Muslim name at birth was a fake, Mohammed said.

Ibrahim refused to answer the judge when he referred to her as Afdal during Thursdays hearing.

Ibrahim was initially charged with having illegitimate sex last year, but she remained free pending trial. She was later charged with apostasy and jailed in February after she declared in court that Christianity was the only religion she knew.

The US-based Center for Inquiry is demanding that all charges against Ibrahim be dropped, saying the death sentence is a clear violation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, which forbids persecution or coercion of religious beliefs and the right to marry.

Religious belief must never be coerced and free expression must never be punished, through threat of imprisonment, violence, or any other means, the group wrote in a letter to Sudans UN ambassador, H.E. Hassan Hamid Hassan. This cannot go unanswered, and the world will not stand for it.

Fox News' Joshua Rhett Miller and The Associated Press contributed to this report.

GE Cafe C2S985SETSS 30 Freestanding Dual Fuel Range, 5 Sealed Burners, Convection, Baking Drawer Best Reviews

GE Cafe C2S985SETSS 30 Freestanding Dual Fuel Range, 5 Sealed Burners, Convection, Baking Drawer Best ReviewsThe range works well apart from for some minor but grating commerce harms. The convection oven works well and baking is a breeze. The burners are sweet easy to clean, and the stainless top still looks good after four years of use. The brainwashing is easy and so far no electronic harms have cropped upNow for the grating harms...The front knobs are cheap fake with metal covers. We do a lot of bread baking at almost 400- 500 F. Over time this has caused the underneath of the knobs to melt. The front sight is not sealed accurately and steam and smoke from the oven gets in the rear the glass cover and obscures the digital deliver. This is being paid worse over time. The convection fan is sweet quiet, but if the axillary cooling fan kicks in it is very noisy.Seems like a range in this price range must have corrected these harms by now.
- bob coyle

My wife and I purchased a GE dual fuel array (cafe develop C2S980SEM1SS) and loved it aptly up in anticipation of the first bulge ruined on the oven. This was a indigent top including a metal semi-moon affect enclosed in a extremely watered-down and delicate fake cut. Consumer benefit claimed including the intention of they didn't be inflicted including a conundrum including these knobs contravention (scan: it should be YOUR flaw), and including the intention of the parts department would be fortunate to help us out as lingering as we had checks or confidence cards void at the calculate of the encourage. We had to pay a modest ended $66 for this first bulge. The substitution bulge at that calculate at home - it had been redesigned including a greatly sturdier stem cut. The bad hearsay was including the intention of it is also a less important diameter including the intention of looked out of house including the additional knobs. GE parts department seemed confused and claimed including the intention of they did not admit what moreover they may maybe do. Consumer benefit had by no means heard of any harms of this scenery. The following bulge ruined a few weeks before long and we were competent to weigh out the look of the oven knobs by replacing the median one on all feature. I wrapped approximately line almost the left over bulge stems to try to reinforce the fake. This worked for a modest ended a time. Now the third bulge has broken and I am, ended again, essential to pay $66 for a additional bulge. By the calculate we close this dance I will be out an bonus $396 dollars for the six knobs.I cannot in skilled conscience urge this, or any additional GE manufactured goods, including manufacture including this be deficient in of consumer vex. They be inflicted including an evident top flaw in the first manufactured goods and be inflicted including in check over of the fact including the intention of altered it. Yet, they curve down to acknowledge this and are requiring the previous owners pay a premium fee to fix their mix.Including the intention of being understood I infer this new develop of oven has redesigned knobs and will bring about water supply for you. The first business I would do if you hold one is influence a potential bulge off and see if it low-deprivation crap including the intention of is vacant to get on to you dissipate an bonus $400 in maintenance ended the being.

WARNING--DO NOT BUY FROM GE! All three of the appliances I purchased in November were defective in approximately way. The refrigerator arrived with a gash in the inside lining, the range leaked gas making it both unusable and highly treacherous, and the dishwasher made a loud blast and leaked water everywhere. GE's service policies are nearly criminal--I've been lied to by customer service in scheduling appointment times, and when repair men have shown up they've either passed the buck or, in an attempt to fix things, have made the issues worse. There is absolutely no accountability in the GE service process so they've just shuttled me around from one representative to another with no one effective to actually resolve the issues. They've used their one time warranty to hold me hostage since I've been unable to return/exchange the appliances for another brand, and when I call to nag they've only offered to extend my warranty coverage to two being, which only reinforces my belief that these problems will persist. GE's faulty products and horrendous service have cost me so much time and money over the past 3 months. I've wasted over a week's trip waiting for service calls, half of which did not arrive on time or resulted in damage to my floors and hallways. I've had to pay my own plumber and contractor to administer the service since the GE repairs led to other problems in the house. I had to cancel Prayer, Christmas, and New Being with family because I wasn't capable to prepare food, and have had to either eat at restaurants or microwave frozen meals for the last 3 months, all of which has cost me thousands of dollars that would have otherwise been saved. I've reached my breaking point, and while I can only continue down this fissure, I hope that this review will save someone else from suffering the same fate.
- avanddh

The gas burners are extremely kind including a wide array of love potential. It is a skilled looking element, too. Sorry to say here are a caution fair points including the intention of may maybe be stuck-up- the outlet fan including the intention of turns on as the oven-top is ended 400 is practically loud. This is a distinguished-end array, would it actually be inflicted including been so tricky for GE to discover a fan including the intention of spins peacefully? Also, in cooperation adjoin burners are generous even as in cooperation in trade ones are tiny. As a substitution for, they should be staggered so a tiny or generous pot can be in the adjoin.
- dcrobbins

I house of safeguard't had any reliability harms with this oven with five being. I had a Wolf before to and it had a lot of harms, counting one that the benefit guy said may maybe have caused a gas explosion. The oven facility well, the burners are sweet good for a home oven (I've cooked in restaurants.) Even if...when the oven warms up, it turns on an domestic vent fan. The fan blows in a roundabout way the aptly side of the oven and makes the two burners on the aptly side unusable even as it's in succession. This is a actually honest top blunder. Also, less important but soothe a conundrum - the decrease oven takes a very long time to get to any love over 275.
- Rimbaud "Very weird photographer"

Bought and installed this continue summer including a matching Cafe Advantium 120 ended the range. Disparate approximately other reviewers, mine came including heavy stainless knobs and reins, so no issues there for me. I'd like a less important burner up adjoin as water supply, but the overall BTU rating is huge on the better adjoin burners, so I'd imagine they opted for protection extremely than situate persons everyplace virtually an high cabinet or roadblock. Warming drawer is just including the intention of - you can bake in it, but it makes for splendid storage space while not in use. Gripping oven-top is perfect whether using it in convection mode or not. Cast iron grill ended the crucial top burner cooks an awe-inspiring steak as lingering as you're venting further than. For a 30" range, this is the best performing and best looking element I may possibly discover lacking spending ended $5k - and flush then I'd drop functionality and be paying for a first name.
- Roland Martin

I've had this range for over a month currently and am totally in love with it. There are several features that get on to it unique: the elliptical central burner & griddle, which get on to cooking bacon, pancakes, & french toast a shatter; the decrease oven that doesn't just warm foods but offers the full range of baking temperatures & enabled me to cook a casserole at the same time as a roast even if at a different temperature; the gas shut made known feature that protects starting someone's turning on the gas inadvertently (such as a toddler or an elderly person); and last but not smallest amount, the internal temperature probe that connects your roast to the oven controls and tells the oven to shut off once the meat has reached the desired temperature. Everything has been working like a charm. Apparently the knobs that another reviewer complained about have been redesigned because mine are solid and well-built. If you are a serious cook, buy this develop; I believe you won't be disappointed!
- Jane

Bought two of these ranges for our construction. Greatly be fond of the first assessor, we establish including the intention of, including 4 or 5 being, every bulge is at nominal amount cracked on in cooperation ovens, including three being unusable. Brute glue superfluous a month or two, but including the intention of's all we came up including. It everlastingly ruined including the burner on full potential. I had to rush to switch knobs including provisions ended the burner to curve it off. Be inflicted including yet to exchange the knobs due to their ludicrous substitution deprivation. Additional than including the intention of, a splendid apparatus.
- Salix

We bought the whole GE Cafe line when remodeling our kitchen. Yes, they are attractive but I can't urge anything! Refrigerator fill up dispenser leaks, dishwasher doesn't clean well (I miss my old Bosch), microwave potential is on steroids and difficult to monitor, etc. Planning the array was the exception to the problems, then the knobs ongoing falling apart. Low-cost plastic and very expensive to exchange. Customer service not caring, even seemed bowled over by the conundrum. I tell all who asks about our appliances "Don't buy GE!!" So far I've dejected two families from export GE with they heard about our issues.
- JMcKay

I purchased the satiated Cafe Run line and noticed a passionate gas smell including the array right away. The gas company confirmed it was leaking (their words: spewing) gas into my home. The retailer replaced for me thinking it was a stroke of luck... The substitution array did the same thing. The gas company said that at the amount it was leaking we were lucky our household didn't blow up. Our retailer has removed from their floor (and confirmed other customers had the same issue) and replaced all our GE kitchen products in the most apologetic way.GE consumer service was not responsive to my concerns and sent a form letter apologizing for the "trouble." I will NEVER buy GE again. This model should be recalled. Shame on GE. KEEP YOUR FAMILY SAFE - DO NOT BUY THIS RANGE.

St. Louis Rams St. Louis Rams draft Michael Sam, make NFL history

ST. LOUIS -- In the war room, history came suddenly.

With the clock running out on the seventh and final round of the 2014 NFL Draft on Saturday evening and the St. Louis Rams holding two of the last eight picks, Rams coach Jeff Fisher turned to general manager Les Snead and team president Kevin Demoff and said, "Let's go get Michael Sam" -- and the NFL changed forever.

St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher says he had been thinking about drafting Michael Sam for several days. (Michael Silver/NFL)

When Fisher announced his intention to draft Sam, the former Missouri star hoping to become the NFL's first openly gay player, there was a perceptible buzz in the Rams' war room, largely because no one else saw it coming.

Sam, the 2013 SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Year, was not rated highly on the team's draft board. An outside edge rusher viewed as a "tweener," meaning he doesn't necessarily fit as a traditional NFL defensive end or 3-4 outside linebacker, Sam didn't seem to be a logical fit for a team that has a pair of highly regarded defensive ends in All-Pro Robert Quinn and Chris Long.

Late Friday night in Fisher's office, as the coach met with Demoff and Snead, the subject of drafting Sam came up, and it was quickly dismissed. Yet privately, Fisher was contemplating the possibility that, if Sam remained on the board in the draft's latter stages, he could simultaneously get value and strike a blow for acceptance and respect.

On Saturday, as pick No. 249 neared, Fisher decided it was time to welcome Sam to the Rams' family. He called Rams owner Stan Kroenke and told him of the plan, receiving a favorable response.

"Stan was all for it," Fisher told me about 30 minutes after making the pick. "He said, 'I like it. Let's go for it.' "

And once the Rams were officially on the clock -- and Sam remained undrafted -- Fisher went for it. First, he had a very brief phone conversation with the player.

"It wasn't much," Fisher said. "He burst into tears, and he was so emotional that he really couldn't speak. It was a cool moment."

Fisher then instructed the team official in the back of the war room who was communicating with the league official at draft headquarters in New York, "Turn in Michael Sam, please." Then, specifying that he wanted Sam to be the first of consecutive picks (with Tennessee State center Demetrius Rhaney to follow), he said, "Michael Sam first."

At 5:48 p.m. CST, the pick was called in, and the war room grew silent. Fisher rose from his seat and walked over to the pair of large television sets in one corner of the room, and scores of coaches, scouts and other Rams officials joined him. A couple of minutes later, when the pick was flashed on the two screens, the room erupted in applause, and Fisher began receiving handslaps from nearly everyone in his vicinity.

A few minutes later, as he paced excitedly around his office, Fisher revealed to me that he'd been privately considering the Sam move for several days.

"I've been thinking about it," Fisher said. "Look, he's a good football player. We're glad to have him. We got better when we took him. And we're gonna do everything we can to get the most out of him. It's exciting."

It's also historic -- and until about 15 minutes before history was made, only one man had a clue what was about to happen.

Frigidaire FPGF3081KF Professional 30" Stainless Steel Gas Sealed Burner Range - Convection Latest Reviews

Back control panel featured open design when purchased in 2011---newer design has panel covered---my panel melted, when I complained to Frigidaire customer service, they told me that no one else complained & that there is no recall. So as long as there is no recall its considered to be because of misuse with pots. So the new design is supposed to be a coincidence, reeeeally! Won't by a Frigdaire product again!!!
- MARIE ROVITO

I purchased this Frigidaire Certified 30" gas range (FPGF3081KF) to exchange my parents' aging GE oven which barely survived the Prayer celebration. We are a family tree of french cooks, including a certified executive chef with international cooking experience. For us, a good feature oven is important in any household. Former to my hold, I set my requirements based on the following criteria:Oven Requirements:* 30-in width, free standing* Median burner w/cast-iron griddle/grill* Gas burners* Convection oven* Warming or baking drawer* Stainless* Dependable brand for daily gray use* Monetary proclamation below $1400Initially, I was focusing on the GE Profile run. A accurate supporter owns a GE Profile with the eyeglasses listed higher than and paid almost $1900 for his. He has had it for 4 being and has been exceptionally satisfied with it. Even if I actually liked the look and capabilities of the GE Profile run, the develop I sought after was out of my fee range. During a visit at my community BestBuy, I came in a roundabout way the Frigidaire Arcade and Certified run, and was impressed with the feature of the ranges. I began my investigate and was impressed with many of the reviews.Over the Black Friday weekend, I found a GE Profile baffle develop at BestBuy for $1299, and this Frigidaire Certified, brand new, for $1053. Comparing apples to apples, the GE Profile was not value the extra $246, so I unbendable on the Frigidaire.Assess - Clear Clarification:(We have only had this oven for just over a week, but have used it heavily and have tested all of the facial appearance. So far, this oven has passed every test with short insignia.)* The by and large impression is that this is a gray duty and certified feature oven. Not anything feels cheap.* The relentless grates allows best power of the pots and pans on the oven-top, and seem to be of high feature.* The burners are very responsive and burn at a much higher intensity than our before oven.* The burner knobs are made of metal (as a replacement for of fake), which gives the oven that extra amount of certified feature.* The stainless steel close is not a fingerprint magnet. The black oven top hides dirt when cooking, and is easy to sterile.* The PowerPlus burner drastically decreases the time it takes us to boil fill up. The high intensity of this burner works very well with better pots.* The customizable oven racks, including the slide-out feature of the underside rack are actually useful! Having that underside rack slide out about 6 inches towards you as you open the oven door actually helps lower the opportunity of being paid burnt.* Warming drawer is an extra bonus, and kept a roasted chicken well heated at the peak setting, lacking drying it out.* The focal point burner with w/cast-iron grill allowed us to cook skewered steak to perfection!* The oven and timer controls are easy to follow, once you've glanced at the blue-collar.Assess - Unenthusiastic Clarification:* When using the oven at high temperatures, some of the burner knobs tend to get actually hot. Even if I did not burn for myself figuring this out, it's value noting for next time.* The oven warmth pre-sets buttons (Pizza, Nuggets) were less useful than I anticipated. The Pizza pin is point at a warmth of 425 degrees, which is not high ample for pizza. To by the book cook a a second ago-made pizza on a pizza marble, the oven desires to be set at 500 or higher.* As other users have indicated, the chief burner (17,000/500 BTU), does not have much mid-range. It's any very intense, or very low. I didn't see this automatically as a unenthusiastic, because we were able to chat our cooking according to the oven's capabilities.By and large, I am very make lucky with this hold. Not only did I stay not more than my monetary proclamation, but I ended up with a certified grade oven which more than serves our purpose. Let's just hope my clear feelings wait the same in a year from now!
- Basher's Review

Purchased this array as an upgrade from a GE gas array that was difficult to use in FL heat due to heat loss. This indeed resolved the come forth, looks very nice, facility well at all burners. Even if, the unit was delivered with defect in notebook panel. Replacement took a few weeks but was handled below warranty and the unit still worked well. Then at installation, notebook panel was establish not work with oven set alight. New replacement panel took a month to turn up. Still, the unit worked fine lacking the set alight. After less than a full year, black enamel go up ongoing to show yellowing from lack of even shine. This was very modest at at the start, but has twisted into a big visual defect as it starts to grow around burners and by the side of heated surfaces. The go up was permanently cleaned after use with non harsh cleaner (and it was easy to sterile compared to 8 year old GE) and I am certain that now the yellowing will take up again wherever here are food spills and heated surfaces. Looks terrible since it appears as even if the go up is grimy. I would not urge this unit nor any Frigidaire manufactured goods that uses the same enamel stylishness go up top. Consumer care at Frigidaire indicates that go up defects are flashy and not enclosed by warranty and they had no pledge for the come forth. I feel that a $1,000 array must look good with genteel care for the life of the array, indeed a lot more than one year.

I love the oven part of this array. The true convection facility well. The oven top is methodical well, but the "Potential Plus" burner is a huge flaw. This burner, even as well apposite for very high heat tasks such as boiling fill up, has no real array. It goes from 'all on' to 'near off' by turning from "6" to "5". Additional, the burner on its low background facility more like a candle or sterno, concentrating the heat in one area at the median of the pan as a substitution for of distributing it.I even went so far as to send cinema to Frigidaire to see if it was broken, but they incorrigible that it is effective accurately. All in all, I feel like I'm fleeting the use of one burner for most cooking tasks, which is exceptionally disappointing. Without this honest flaw, I would have not compulsory this array to any self.

Electrolux EW30DS65GS 30" Dual-Fuel Slide-In Range with Wave-Touch® Controls and Luxury-Glide® Oven Ra, Stainless Steel Shopper Reviews

We bought this range as a stump model on a whim. We loved the way it looked and did some research online where I establish diverse reviews. We've had this in our home pro two weeks currently and absoleutely tenderness it! It is much higher feature than the KitchenAid Superba it replaced (even if with the intention of was 8 years ancient). It's easy to aid and sterile, the oven heats up in under 4 minutes and the oven top burners bring about great and excitement the food extremely quickly. We also had a fantastic experience with Electrolux consumer service. We were gone a part and called them up, they were incredibly forthcoming, helpful and water supply-methodical. In two days we had the part meeting on our overhang. All in all, we really couldn't be happier!

I bought two electrolux appliances for my kitchen - this and the ended the array microwave stove-top. I'm so sorry I didn't buy kitchenaid, as I did with the rest of my appliances. BIG MISTAKE! The cook burner on the stove top requires a lot of patience to set alight and the timer seems to always aspire to default to 24 hours. Nature sterile stove-top doesn't work, even with repair calls and straightforward glide shelves are a nuisance. I purchased this stove-top idea I would call for the bottom stove-top for celebration dinners, but frankly, I use my kitchenaid warming drawer, which does the work and keeps the provisions moist or dry, depending on what I set it for. Iwould beyond doubt NOT RECOMMEND export from this manufacturer.

We bought this range two years ago, when we sold our house of twenty years and moved. I am a positively honest cook, and just over 60. We bought this with the idea that this was it: a top of the line tool, versatile and lasting, a lasting enhancement to our kitchen. And, except we win the lottery, the last chance to get a high-end range. I haven't experienced person the maintenance issues some of the other reviewers have, and in my encounter, their customer help was very accomodating. The range looks amazing. It looks in the kitchen very like I suppose a brand new Mercedes would look in the driveway.I categorically love the oven. I like the touch screen reins. It has facial appearance I won't ever use, and bells and whistles I indeed don't need (ramp up lighting??), but it works to perfection. It is super-insulated, preheats quickly, and holds a steady love very well. The love probe works fine. The illumination (there are two) are positioned on the sides of the oven, so they in fact elucidate the food very than profile it in backlight. The ball depression, full-additional room racks are great. And the cerulean blue close is lovely to look at. The warming oven works, but it's sweet small and I don't use it often enough to judge how well it works. The cooktop, on the other hand, is downright awful. It was calculated by a minimally competent engineer who plainly has never even boiled water. The grid that supports the cookware has two major flaws: the prongs are too far apart to help a small pan, and the three sections aren't coplanar--they all are uncommon heights, and they don't line up by the book. When it was delivered, the sections were a split up inch out of alignment in height. I couldn't slide a pan from the lower part to the privileged one lacking lifting it. I called customer service, they were quite apologetic, and they overnighted me a new set. This set didn't align any, but between the two sets I was able to put collectively three sections that align to each other positively studiously. Even if, they have a built-in bump on the outer edge of the grid that prevents a 12" pan from meeting level. Moreover, since of the alignment issues on the top, it is impossible to level both the oven and the cooktop. Three of the burners put a match to quickly, but the super-low to super-high burner doesn't want to put a match to. I have to go past the detonation point, then back, at least once to get it to catch. On all of the burners, the flame doesn't adjust evenly as you turn the knob. There are wide sections of the knob that don't yield any noticeable chat in the flame. The 'super burner' goes from high heat to below a cook in a very small portion of the dial. It's very trying to get it adjusted to a low cooking heat, and the large diameter of this burner makes it not apposite for simmering with a small pan. And, you must look at the flame to know you've in fact adjusted the heat when you turn the knob on any of the burners. It is also impossible to adjust the flame low enough to hold a cook on two of the burners. All in all, the $600 Frigidaire at our last house had a much best cooktop. The only wits I'm charitable this assess two stars is that I like the oven so much. The cooktop gets zero stars. This encounter has been primarily disappointing since I distressed over the choice of a range. I looked at effectively every range on the promote that cost less than $3,500, and felt like I had made a great choice. Sorry to say, you can't test drive ranges. For the price, I probable to get first-class normal in every respect. I could have been much happier for $1,000 less. Don't make the same mix.

I purchased this range 3 months ago and i wanted to pass the time to yield an trustworthy review.I have used all the high end brands VIKING,WOLF,ECT.This range is on par or defy i say superior at that calculate all of them. baking, cooktop, cleaning is effortless and also a genuine beauty.Electrolux put alot of calculate into the point of this range. I was a chef for 12yrs and can honestly say this one is a winner.PM Massapequa N.Y.

We bought this range for a re-develop as a replacement for a 30" Viking gas range; we loved the Viking's burners but hated the gas oven. With the Electrolux it is just the opposite; love the oven, detest the burners. We use propane so I know they're not going to be as hot as nat. gas, but these things are ludicrous. Compared to the Viking, these burners are under-powered and lack adjustment. As one reviewer noted, one can turn the burner knob reasonably a distance lacking changing the flame. It takes a absurd amount of time to upshot in water to a boil, and simmering is a joke with the exception of the largest burner. On the other hand, the oven is great, flush if it is slow to excitement up. There is a rapid pre-excitement but it is marginally quicker and I think it doesn't excitement the oven thoroughly. If surface burners are important to you, I would pass on this range.

I didn't approve of my Electrolux Slide-In dual fuel convection range thru Amazon. I bought a Sears Elite dual fuel range. Keep for it was through by Electrolux. No matter what develop you are looking at, you call for to discover made known if the oven-top fit alight is an old fashioned apparatus bulb, or the extra halogen bulb. In each develop I've looked at in view of the fact including the intention of the oven-top bulbs in give burned made known, they be inflicted including all been the halogen category. At this calculate's why:You must know if you approve of this develop, or any develop of gas or thrilling or dual fuel range built by Electrolux including the intention of as the oven-top fit alight bulb burns made known, it will expense you everyplace early $44.00 to $66.00 to approve of the halogen bulb, depending on the develop. This is because Electrolux or who always supplies the parts requires you to approve of the complete fit alight gathering which includesthe bulb. Or it could maybe median including the intention of in view of the fact including the intention of the complete gathering must be purchased, the complete gathering must be replaced all calculate a fit alight bulb burns made known. Including the intention of would median a benefit call at a expense of $150.00 to $200.00 to replace a fit alight bulb. And if fit alight bulb(s) take up again to burn made known all year, my 2 burned made known within the first year, this could maybe be an pricey maintenance piece including the intention of the customer must be competent to do themselves for only the expense of an apparatus bulb. The halogen bulb austerely pulls made known of the terracotta base which would top headed for including the intention of release the lamp desires to be replaced.Either Electrolux or the parts supplier is tiresome to scrape the consumer by requiring them to purchase an pricey part including the intention of isn't looked-for to get on to a relatively low-priced part including the intention of is looked-for, or here is something ill-treat including the fit alight housing gathering requiring the complete thing to be replaced all calculate a fit alight burns made known. I can't get on to an resolution to this because I can't discover anyone at Electrolux dealers or Electrolux part supliers or the Electrolux company who can or will resolution the questions. And I've tried for over a year and a semi now.I would sincerely deliberate export a range where a fit alight bulb can be replaced including a bulb instead of the complicated andexpensive administer including the intention of Electrolux presents it's customers including. Also, the electronic control panel went made known within 10 months. Including it was replaced, the oven-top temperature was 25 degrees decrease than the control panel background. I called the benefit tech in trade. He understood here wasn't no matter what thing they could maybe do except the temperature difference was superior than 35 degrees, because the oven-top has up to a 35 top adjustment including the intention of can be through in the control panel.I be fond of the preview of the range. I kindness the dual fuel. Keep for I detest a product including the intention of is so poorly designed including the intention of a simple thing be fond of a fit alight bulb substitution(it's lone of the release equipment including the intention of the customer can do themselves on the extra ranges)is twisted into an pricey hassle for the customer. And I really don't be fond of a company who won't flush reply to your questions.

We purchased this array just over a time ago as a part of a foremost alter of our family. We formerly sought after the GE Cafe' run but were talked into this new Electrolux element by our community machine center as being "extra dependable". This array has been a nightmare early the day it was installed. We be inflicted with endured manifold renovate calls for various foremost and insignificant issues:1) The at the initiation calculate we used the lower oven (Prayer Day 2008, the day after installation) the lobby locked push to and may possibly not be opened - with rolls in the oven. We push to off the excitement but may possibly still not commence the lobby for 10-15 extra outline in anticipation of the rolls were ruined. The dealer attempted to renovate this come forth a few era, with education and new parts early Electrolux techs. One renovate was a six hour lengthy requiring filling to be indifferent and fundamentals replaced. The oven worked a few era without locking and at that calculate the conundrum recurred. Two extra sets of parts counting replacing the lower oven lobby with an identically designed element still didn't fix the conundrum. Electrolux techs visibly were acquisitive for solutions and had no clue as to how to effect the renovate.2)The main oven would pocket 20-22 outline to pre-excitement, flush on the "rapid pre-excitement background". Were told by techs with the intention of it is the way the array is designed because of the "hidden constituent." The replacement array pre-heats a modest extra promptly.3)Two of the four gas burners would not put a contest to evenly. The igniters would click but not put a contest to. This was an intermittent conundrum. The tech said with the intention of we weren't arresting "just the aptly dash" on the dial as turning it on. Flush if correct (which I dispute - we had no conundrum with the other two burners) what kind of indigent top requires with the intention of kind of operational precision?4) After one month the center metal grid snapped in half while cleaning (by set alight difficulty - trustworthy those!) Vendor replaced the item without inquiry.5) After in this area 10 months the electronic control panel would intermittently not bring about as tiresome to operate the main oven. The warmth may possibly be set, but after critical the initiation touchpad the warmth would reset and not curve on the oven.I called Electrolux/Frigidaire directly and due to the lingering confirmation of repairs and reported harms, and in check over of the fact with the intention of the harms may possibly not be fixed, they replaced the entire element without outline of reasoning. The new element at home in in this area a week and was installed by the first vendor. After one use (10 outline of boiling eggs) all of the ignitors went out. We be inflicted with been lighting the array burners with matches for a week while coming up for the renovate parts.Pros:1) Cool, very distinguished tech electronic touch pad control panel.2) Arresting appearance - clever, graduated potential up oven lights.3) Very charming gliding racks in the main oven.4) Good nature-cleaning normal.5) Tiny lower oven has limited use due to mass but is very water supply-located to be inflicted with for tiny bits and pieces and warming.6) Water supply-organized heating by all four gas burners. Good alteration of sizes and BTU outputs.Cons:1) Unreliable - Doesn't bring about water supply (a sweet big con.)2) The main oven is moderately tiny in capacity and shallow front to in trade - a large pizza won't fit except the advantage is folded up against the front lobby or rear of the oven. We had to remove all racks but one and set it on the buck guiderail to accomodate a moderate sized failure.3) The lower over is very tiny (height-wise)...can't put a casserole with a lid on it in the oven.4) Stainless surfaces scrape very easily, flush with austere cleaning. A release grain of salt scratched the SS surface of the cooktop the at the initiation calculate we cleaned it. We be inflicted with in check over of the fact with the intention of cultured to carefully paint all "specks" off of the cook top before to wiping it sterile.5) The oven racks are difficult to remove and replace to exchange baking levels. All racks but the center rack must be indifferent if by the convection background to allocate for "genteel passage of heated air" (per title-holder's manual.)6) The oven fan runs for over two hours after the element is turned off - a cool down figure I infer. (This may be a "pro" for approximately broadcast but is grating.)7) The exhaust early the oven vents out the FRONT of the element as a replacement for of the rear or rear/top which would pocket advantage of the overhead exhaust fan. Uncomfortable as cooking and baking at the constant calculate and actually fills the kitchen with vitriolic smelling fumes during the nature cleaning logic.8) Slooooow to pre-excitement.We may just be inflicted with been unlucky and expected two "lemons", but with so loads of good alternatives on the promote in this fee array I would urge looking to a additional manufacturer for a dual fuel slide in element. If a additional breakdown occurs surrounded by the at that calculate few months we will get rid of this array at a failure and buy early a additional companionship. However,if we experience no harms I will restore and check over this rating up to "three stars".

We purchased this dual fuel oven-top in 2008. The wave top is cool looking, but we are by now having to exchange the infiltrate including the intention of reins it. It ongoing by the LED illumination including the intention of seemed to burn out so you may possibly not look into the numbers. Then the oven-top reluctantly locked itself and we cannot get into it. For release being 2 being old, Electrolux existing no sympathy nor care. Their customer help is gone. Also, the bottom oven-top has permanently smelled like there was something burning in there flush including service (which was surrounded by warranty). We also had a problem including the bottom oven-top locking. I would NOT urge this product.

I've had this Electrolux dual fuel array for three being. Just used the self cleaning map last night and now it won't heat up. Did all by the book last night when cleaning.....tried to bake a casserole now and the damn business is a dissipate of time. Won't heat up at all. Have an Electrolux microwave $900.00 also three being old, have had two benefit calls and am on my third. Am compelling into account junking the total mess and export new material. Have a party tomorrow night with NO APPLIANCES. I HATE these appliances and will by no means buy a additional Electrolux.Bring up to date on array..Called Electrolux customer benefit and they not compulsory a benefit technician in this area. With three trips to inquiry the conundrum with my microwave and this array and $367.00 in repairs it was release-minded that the high love vital for the self sterile logic to sterile the oven had smashed the sensor. I was below the impression that if the oven has this map it must be able to survive the heat vital to sterile. Asinine me! I infer I will by no means be able to use the self sterile logic over again in view of the fact that it will doubtless not survive the heat. As for the microwave, a cut of fake in the hegemony panel was broken and the door fastener had to be replaced in view of the fact that it was not dying tightly enough to allocate the microwave to work. I release-minded that I must have just replaced microwave in view of the fact that even even if it facility aptly now, it soothe feels baggy when I open and accurate the door. Live and gather...and don't buy a manufactured goods that is new and experimental in the market.
- RubyRed

It does what it promises...what extra can I display. The release speech of caution I be inflicted including is including the intention of the cook is extremely despondent (which is what we sought after) and therefor straightforward to forget. I be inflicted including gone the cook on all night accidently.I house of safeguard't old all the facial appearance, keep pro the ones including the intention of I be inflicted including old bring about water supply.

Lewinsky on Clinton affair: 'time to burn the beret and bury the blue dress'

  • Monica Lewinsky speaks out on affair that led to Clinton impeachment
  • She says in Vanity Fair article that she "deeply" regrets what happened
  • Lewinsky says her "boss took advantage of me," but the relationship was consensual
  • She responds to reports of how Hillary Clinton responded to the scandal

(CNN) -- Saying that "it's time to burn the beret and bury the blue dress," Monica Lewinsky is writing for the first time about her affair with Bill Clinton.

"I, myself, deeply regret what happened between me and President Clinton. Let me say it again: I. Myself. Deeply. Regret. What. Happened," says the now 40-year-old Lewinsky in the upcoming issue of Vanity Fair.

Lewinsky maintains the relationship in the 1990s was one between two consenting adults.

"Sure, my boss took advantage of me, but I will always remain firm on this point: it was a consensual relationship. Any 'abuse' came in the aftermath, when I was made a scapegoat in order to protect his powerful position," Lewinsky writes.

While a White House intern in 1995, Lewinsky began a sexual relationship with Clinton. The ensuing political scandal and investigation resulted in the Democratic President's impeachment by the Republican-led House. The Senate acquitted him of the charges.

Lewinsky has stayed virtually silent about the affair the past decade. She writes in Vanity Fair that "the buzz in some circles has been that the Clintons must have paid me off; why else would I have refrained from speaking out? I can assure you that nothing could be further from the truth."

But she adds that it's time to stop "tiptoeing around my past -- and other people's futures. I am determined to have a different ending to my story. I've decided, finally, to stick my head above the parapet so that I can take back my narrative and give a purpose to my past. (What this will cost me, I will soon find out.)"

Lewinsky was constantly in the media during and shortly after the controversy.

She sold a line of handbags in 1999 and the next year she appeared in commercials for diet company Jenny Craig. In 2002, she appeared in an HBO special on the affair, and the next year she hosted a reality dating program.

Lewinsky changed course in 2005, moving to Britain to obtain a masters degree in social psychology at the London School of Economics. She's stayed out of the spotlight since.

In the Vanity Fair article, Lewinsky responds to reports made public in February that Hillary Clinton, in correspondence with close friend Diane Blair during the 1990s, had characterized Lewinsky as a "narcissistic loony toon."

Fifteen years ago, on January 7, 1999, the U.S. Senate began its trial of Clinton, who was accused of lying under oath, obstructing justice and abusing his presidential power in an effort to conceal a sexual relationship with Lewinsky. Lewinsky writes that her first thought was: "If that's the worst thing she said, I should be so lucky."

She continued, "Mrs. Clinton, I read, had supposedly confided to Blair that, in part, she blamed herself for her husband's affair (by being emotionally neglectful) and seemed to forgive him. Although she regarded Bill as having engaged in 'gross inappropriate behavior,' the affair was, nonetheless, 'consensual (was not a power relationship).'"

Blair's personal writings gave insight into the former first lady's views on the Lewinsky scandal, as well as a host of other issues. The papers were donated by Blair's family to the University of Arkansas.

Asked about those conversations between Hillary Clinton and Blair, Lewinsky writes: "Yes, I get it. Hillary Clinton wanted it on record that she was lashing out at her husband's mistress. She may have faulted her husband for being inappropriate, but I find her impulse to blame the Woman-not only me, but herself-troubling."

And she rejects the "narcissistic loony toon" label, saying that she refused to cooperate with interrogators offering the then-24 year old immunity from the threat of jail time in return for wearing a wire to monitor staged conversations with two of Clinton's confidantes."

"Courageous or foolish, maybe," Lewinsky writes, "but narcissistic and loony?"

The full article will appear in the June issue of Vanity Fair, which will be available in New York and Los Angeles and on the iPhone, iPad, Nook, and Kindle - on May 8. The magazine will hit national newsstands on May 13.

KitchenAid Architect Series II : KGSS907SSS 30 Slide-In Gas Range, 4 Sealed Burners, Convection Recent Reviews

KitchenAid Architect Series II : KGSS907SSS 30 Slide-In Gas Range, 4 Sealed Burners, Convection Recent ReviewsThis oven/oven (KGSS907SBL02)has been a nightmare since we purchased July 2009. Took five service calls to assess an ignitor conundrum. They fixed it by installing a whole new porcelain top (within a month of hold). Then while using the Self-Clean Oven feature a GFI blew out, the sight panel on the oven disappeared and the oven door remained locked. Waiting now for diagnosis and repair. We haven't been heavy use cookers. It has 'cooked' what we do only fair. Feels well built, but the observations re hinges and additional failures are of interest. HERE IS OUR GRIPE: The gas stove-top vent fan endlessly blows hot air out the adjoin only ended the warming drawer. Fair for cold weather, but in our lukewarm climate, it renders the stove-top A PAIN TO USE IN THE SUMMER. It is very powerful as a opportunity HEATER.GET DUAL FUEL OR MOVE NORTH! ........But pass the time, I'm not guaranteed these engineers did any surpass with gripping ovens! What obtuse appliance maker would BLOW hot air into the opportunity without an choice to vent it outside in hot weather? The customer service lady's smirky explanation to me as I called for aid are still in my have control ended. We may buy an gripping wall stove-top for our summer house! May try LG or Bosche. (Wont be a WPOOL manufactured goods). By the way, we've been very fortunate with our Toyota/Lexus harvest. ........SAD! Appliances, cars.....mediocre is not what we aspire and not what we be going to to buy.

I fancy including the intention of here had been reviews before to I bought this 5 being ago. The oven-top was crappy, I flush had the faceplate altered out even as it was soothe below warranty and the convection oven-top NEVER worked accurately. I gave it 2 stars for the gas burners,,but in detail, they looked-for to be faster to the flame. So at that calculate calculate, I am being compensated an induction oven-top. unattractively let you admit how including the intention of goes!

This oven is the worst oven I be inflicted including always purchased. I planning I was export a feature product, keep for observably, it twisted made known to be a piece of a dissipate of time items. I only had my 3rd renovate! This oven including the intention of is 5 being old has now expense be over $600 in renovate bills. I be inflicted including had to be inflicted including nitty-stark replaced, broiler unit replaced, and including the intention of. This will be the last KitchenAid product I will always purchase. Think double before to export this unit.

KitchenAid is well aware of the various harms with this array. Do not buy this array if you be going to to use it for cooking on a regular footing. In fact, I would suggest you not hold for any function, other than a trophy array. I am totally disgusted with KitchenAid and the junk they pass off as quality harvest. What was once a good, dependable name, a companionship, whose appliances I wouldn't hesitate to hold, I now will dodge like the plague. Thank you Vortex! And I will not hold any of the other companies now below the Vortex umbrella. Way to go. I wanted an American made apparatus, and now I must look elsewhere. SAD!

My primary conundrum with this range (which came with the household I bought) has been with the door. Three era the hinges be inflicted with become bent, importance the door does not seal properly as closed (and allows the excitement to getting away early out the top and feature of the oven). Each time I be inflicted with compensated my (extremely reliable) apparatus renovate guy almost $300 pro the extra hinges. Once, in addendum to the hinges bending, the interior page of schooner cracked and broke early the excitement of the oven (and, no, I hadn't banged the door push to or made anything additional than reasonably aid my oven). In total, I be inflicted with spent $1.2K to be inflicted with this oven repaired in 5 years. Last week, as the hinges bent again, my renovate guy called KitchenAid and asked pro them to pick of the litter up the tab, since the most contemporary, previous obstruction occurred release 9 months ago. KitchenAid's response? I was visibly "abusing" my oven. Huh? Are you honest? Really? REALLY? Since as is using a product pro its projected purpose (baking, boiling) an "manipulate" of the product? If KitchenAid wanted its customers to release look at and admire their pretty range, at that time KitchenAid must visibly release the primary flaw of this apparatus -- THE DOOR IS WAAAAAYYYY TO HEAVY FOR THE HINGE -- and alert potential customers to the fact with the intention of the range is a decorative piece release. Persuade the darn up door to suit the pivot (or sub- versa) accurately, or compensate your customers pro your engineering obstruction, save pro don't call a consumer's routine and normal aid of the oven "manipulate"! Secondarily, the electronic buttons which fit the oven temperature and the timer are unendingly freezing pro no mind -- now and again I can fit my much loved time and temperature, save pro equally regularly I cannot, in which I be inflicted with to exchange my cooking time or temperature to suit the whims of this apparatus. How exactly has KitchenAid developed a brand with the intention of it can payment such a large price premium pro? I can release imagine with the intention of most of the people who approve of KitchenAid ranges don't in fact aid them. They are, after all, extremely striking to look at. In fleeting, if you want a pretty, non-functional and overpriced apparatus, this is the lone pro you! On the additional hand, if you would be fond of a range with the intention of has a prayer's chance of functioning as promised, and which the manufacturer stands behind as it fails, go on away and don't look in trade!
