Bertazzoni : Professional X365GGVX 36 Pro-Style Gas Range Latest Reviews

You spent so much money on it and you would think you get a distinguished feature product, think again...Over the earlier period few years, we had to replace the ignition parts, door pivot, the lofty burner, and reassemble door panel. The worst part is the oven. It's a bind to light it up. You be inflicted with to hold the button pro 10 seconds to light it up, and loads of era the fire dies out pro no mind, leave-compelling the chatter smell everywhere. The temperature of the oven is so potholed with the intention of it's almost impossible to bake cookie lacking burning the underside. We old to confess a $500 vortex oven, and I missed it so much. I will not trust anything made in Italy any extra. With all the mentioned negatives, however, this range has a extremely nice appearance. If you don't cook much and just need a range pro decoration, I suggest you go pro it ;)

We purchased this unit in 2010 when we absolutely remodeled our kitchen. We wanted a 6 unit burner top and when you go to a 36" size, you bump up into the pro line of ranges. We looked at all types. Actually trying to find a in tears in the $3-$5K array. This was our resolution. We have used it every day since we had it installed. I bake bread, cakes, cookies, casseroles, meat...all! LOVE it. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but it bakes at a exact regular temp. I put two oven thermometers, one in front, one in back. It's regular with the knob dial.It took some being paid used too, and does take a even as to preheat, but not anything I couldn't get used to. All my regular cookie sheets and jellyroll pans fit fine. I do have to mind when I put pans on the bottom, they can get burned much faster than my old thrilling. All in all, it was a splendid hold and I highly recommend this array!

Constant as 30" Professional release mine is 36". See reviews for 30" BertazzoniStove Top is Perfect. Stainless is kind and extremely straightforward to keep clean. Dependable-loads of options for different mass burners.Oven-top takes 25 outline to preheat. I'm not sure if it's insulated ample.Shallow oven-top. No big around pizza's. Oven-top height is short. can't comfortably negotiate two racks. Afraid to burn provisions background racks to high or low -Sacrifice for bottom storage space and legs.Uneven baking flush including convection. Burnt a skin condition on foodTemperature Background is indefinite range background. Old a key marker.Fan blows on your mug when look into-through oven-top.Overall arresting. Oven top splendid but oven-top dissapointing since it takes all the fun out of baking no matter what thing.Min oven-top do fleeting bring about 275....water supply kinda...who really knows....not flush the Bertazzoni do fleeting bring about background dial.
- Laura

Terrible. We purchased a house that had just been renovated and had this 1 year old range installed. It looks great... all who visits is impressed. But it's terrible. The oven takes about 30 seconds of land down the pin to light - in fact as of today it just won't stay lit at all so I'm cooking with the broiler. When it does light, you have to close the door gently or the gust of air blows it out. Nominal oven love is 275F and isn't tall ample for a full size failure. Stovetop works fine but the small simmer burner is on the front forcing you to constantly reach over a hot pot to cook on the back burner. Center dual ring has a lot of vex lighting. Gaps in the cast iron grates are too large so small bottomed pots and pans can tip dangerously. Anyhow, it's just grating every release time I use it. Glad I didn't buy it but it's hard to justify replacing it since it's so new.

'Ronald McDonald' hypes new Taco Bell breakfast

Even Ronald McDonald is thumbing his nose at McDonald's.

Make that lots of Ronald McDonalds with an assist from Taco Bell.

Taco Bell gathered 25 guys coast to coast, whose real names just happen to be Ronald McDonald, and is featuring them in a new ad that extols at the expense of McDonald's the Mexican fast-food chain's new breakfast program rolling out nationally on Thursday.

The tongue-in-cheek ad begins with a narrator offering this: "To show you just how much people are loving Taco Bell's all new breakfast, we asked some very special people."

Next, a handful of folks introduce themselves one by one, as Ronald McDonald. Each, of course, is a big fan of the new Taco Bell breakfast. The ad ends with the group of 25 seated together all saying unison: "My name is Ronald McDonald, and I love Taco Bell's new breakfast."

The ad, created by the agency Deutsch L.A., ends with the narrator offering this: "Breakfast anybody can love even Ronald McDonald."

While the ad has a big smile factor, there's nothing funny about the ongoing fast food wars, which has the $200 billion industry battling for share in one of the few remaining growth areas: breakfast. Breakfast is about a $50 billion segment in fast food, estimates the research firm Technomic. Even though McDonald's is far-and-away the industry leader at breakfast with about a 25% market share, Taco Bell and others sense that the fast-food giant is more vulnerable than its been in years.

"Our customers have asked us to do breakfast because there's a sea of sameness in breakfast sandwiches," says Brian Niccol, president of Taco Bell.

BREAKFAST: Taco Bell thinking outside the breakfast bun

Taco Bell's three key breakfast offerings: The Waffle Taco (warm waffle wrapped around sausage patty or bacon with eggs, cheese and syrup; A.M. Crunchwrap (scrambled eggs, hash browns, cheese and bacon or sausage in a flour tortilla; Cinnabon Delights (poppable Cinnabon treats).

The entire breakfast menu has 14 items that cost from $1 to $2.49. Most Taco Bells will open for breakfast at 7 a.m., or earlier.

At one point, Taco Bell had identified as many as 400 people named Ronald McDonald, but ultimately focused on the 25, says Niccol. The ad, created by the agency Deutsch L.A., was filmed last month in Los Angeles

Niccol, who will be in New York on Thursday, says he already has early plans for breakfast at Taco Bell.

Bosch HEI7282U - 700 Series Full Stainless Steel Professional Style Design Integra Electric Range Latest Reviews

I compensated over $2000 for this oven, and the knobs are cheap plastic and the silver paint is peeling off. Additional problem is the light in the oven keeps blowing off. There are two lights, but I can commence only one of the dinghy covers to change the light bulb, the additional one must be thwart threaded or something, I cannot commence it. I am afraid I will break the class if I put too much difficulty.
- R. Tirukonda

I purchased in April 2007 the gripping array HEI7282U early Bosch. In April 2013 I threw the rub down, and the distinguished aim gripping array is inane to go everywhere it belongs, in the gibberish bin! The infiltrate/sight which is the brain of the beast, part #653424, blew approximately calculate ago in 2009 at that calculate again in Development 2013, at that calculate again in April 2013 lacking any notification nor gray aid. In 2013, the part can be purchased basically which was not the explanation the at the initiation calculate everywhere I had to pass the time 2 months to be inflicted including the array repaired. Currently it is usually void, maybe a road sign including the intention of it blows evenly. A propos the array functionality, not anything greatly to enter family in this vicinity. The burners are travelable, and to some extent powerful. The oven takes unendingly to excitement up, save pro go adequately.Close: I compensated superfluous pro a Bosch appliances in tension pro extraordinary quality, reliability and normal. I got a chic stainless steel apparatus not ended-the acting a ordinary array, and a (extremely) secondary-par reliability. So greatly pro the German quality, since my Bosch dishwasher was a fund of bother excessively. This calculate, I taste Frigidaire/Electrolux. To a great degree reflect it over.
- Philippe Roussel

The old excellence standard for Bosch is no longer the explanation. I had the constant problem with the knobs. I complained and discovered with the intention of Bosch had indeed recognizable the problem and was manufacturing substitution knobs for anyone who complained. The previous knobs did not be inflicted with a baked on finish which disolved as they came in contact with water. The new substitution knobs be inflicted with a sealed glossy finish. HOWEVER...... shortly after I bake a lasagna at 375 degrees THE INTERIOR OVEN DOOR GLASS SHATTERED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This... following many cooling fan replacements. The oven is only months old and I've had numerous repairs. Now I need a new door. I bought the oven from a small appliance store which has been a wonderful advocate for ALL my Bosch problems. Be grateful God, I didn't buy On-Outline or at one of the big chains.
- Catherine Siena "Kate"

We bought ours in April 2012 as we upgraded to stonework counter tops. We place of protection't had any issues with the knobs as others have described, and I regularly clean them. The stove / oven is calm down and facility very well.
- The Hoof "The Hoof"

I bought this array from Sears in May 2011. After a few months, When I was trying to clean the knobs, I found out that the paint on the knobs were peeling off. I took one of the knobs off and found out it is made of cheap plastics. I be inflicted including by no means seen such a product so cheaply made. The Sears technician said:' you used harsh chemicals'. I didn't flush use any detergent! Nobody desires to see a array including such disgusting knobs standing in your kitchen. I googled and found there are other people having the same problem - one consumer has dead through 3 sets of the knobs.

GE Cafe CGS985SETSS 30 Freestanding Gas Range 5 Sealed Burners Buyer Reviews

GE Cafe CGS985SETSS 30 Freestanding Gas Range 5 Sealed Burners Buyer ReviewsPay concentration to including the intention of coolintg addict! By no means knew there was a cooling addict..in anticipation of the pad burned out! extremely expensive repair $430.00 pro not even go 3 years ancient! extremely dissappointed in GE pro such a crap manufactured goods.
- Eric K. Gregory "Bargain Hunter"

I only wrote a lingering assess of this manufactured goods and Amazon deleted it so I am inane to do the fleeting translation pro my pause on-up and maybe recommend itself in trade and enlarge to it if/as I be inflicted including calculate.I am fortunate including this hold, which I've had pro 2 months. It cooks beautifully and including flush excitement, it is owing to of passionate equipment and the cast iron grates, primarily, believe super gray-career. Oven top cleans up basically including soap and fill up. Oven-top bakes and roasts wonderfully (primarily in the convection background). My provisions has by no means looked so impeccably browned.I sought after to yield it 4.5 stars keep pro didn't be inflicted including the choice. So, I gave it 4 (and not 5) stars in check over of the fact including the intention of the stainless stovetop vicinity does scrape basically, flush if I knew including the intention of inane in and be inflicted including been austere including it. The knobs do get on to lukewarm as the oven-top is on, keep pro not so greatly so including the intention of I can't soubriquet them including a bare hand. Here is also a addict in the rear including the intention of comes on as the oven-top is on (and pro a cycle of calculate including, in anticipation of it cools). It is calm down ample and doesn't scare us. I don't reflect a array of this mass can NOT be inflicted including a addict to aid cool it and agreed the top, it has to be in the rear. All in all, I kindness my extra array. It is great to preview at and it makes great provisions! I desire it lasts and will recommend itself in trade and placement if I be inflicted including any extra harms including it.
- Korbella

We purchased the dual fuel version of this range (chatter cooktop and gripping ovens). The chatter cooktop has excellent burners - they cook at exceptionally despondent excitement and do just as water supply with distinguished excitement. The main oven BAKES exceptionally water supply. (My wife was the Betty Crocker Homemaker of the time as she was in distinguished teach.) We haven't tried the drawer oven, save pro we be inflicted with belief with the intention of it may possibly easily soubriquet a caserole or buns while baking a additional piece at a different temperature in the main oven. Lone thing we establish out as buying this range: it is classed as free permanent AND as a slide-in. Pro those wanting a free-permanent oven (counting us), GE offers a matching stainless steel "backsplash" JXS80SS, which definitely dresses up the cooktop. After the nightmares we had with the Electrolux EW30GF65GS range with the intention of (thankfully) we were able to invoke the "lemon plan", we are absolutely thrilled with the intention of this GE Cafe range in fact performs the way it's held to! No problem, it was positively expensive, save pro it has been value every penny!
- A. Peters "ablpete"

Pro's: everything on it works and works well. In this day and age with indigent quality workmanship in most appliances I feel lucky just having all the features work without bringing in a repair man. Nice looking range with sturdy quality components.Con's: large high power burner front aptly which is normally where I like to have a smaller simmer burner for delicate cooking so that I can keep a close eye on the dish. The high power burner is seldom needed except for boiling material and stocks which I usually have on the back burner. This is a indigent design, but I can live with it.Also, fan is noisy, my wife complains of this, but I just turn the TV a little louder.Overall it is a quality range with a couple of design flaws I was familiar with prior to purchase which have not created a unenthusiastic experience while cooking.
- Ross Mestayer

We be inflicted with had this array in check over of the fact with the intention of April and after approximately tuning by the GE rep the oven is now effective better. Here are now scratches on the front stainless spruce due to the burner grates roughness against it promptly as lifting out (gray). Not fun having scratches on a new machine. The glaze on the non-stick grill for the median burner ongoing coming off off after the at the initiation use. GE sent us a replacement which I just expected and the glaze looks almost bare in a skin condition -- very indigent feature -- I will not use it. So if you buy this array, you'd aspire to reflect in this area how to utilize with the intention of elliptical stretched out median burner. I'd very it were a around one. We bought this array after returning a Viking D3 which did not bring about early the initiation and because they didn't be inflicted with their own renovate broadcast, and because we hated paying $4k for a touch with the intention of was defective early the initiation, we got the GE as a replacement for. GE say they are the only manufacturer with their own benefit reps, which does appeal. If I were remodeling a kitchen over again I would be guaranteed to be inflicted with a separate oven and cooktop. Here are so loads of extra options void. Emancipated-standing ranges look to be limited in extent.
- F. R. Inc "Slow Food Junkie"

I tenderness this oven! We looked at numerous with two ovens or an oven & a 'baking drawer' (be fond of this lone), save pro most of them had the large oven on the underside. I couldn't imagine stooping to the stump to put a turkey in there & doubt I would be able to keep my dogs out as the underside oven door opened to the stump. This lone has the drawer on the underside-perfect! We also be fond of the look & roughness of the cast iron grates. The middle burner has been helpful and my husband (who is a cook) loves the cook figure pro his sauces. Would vastly recommend : )
- Katherine Hebert

We are very pleased with our new oven and its ease of surgical course of action. The only negative so far is that when the oven love goes over 350 an exhaust fan starts up which is positively loud with a sing sound in it. The question which comes with the oven work very well and easy to batter out for the midpoint grate and easy to sterile.
- Peter S.

The cook top is just perfect. I be inflicted including been suffering for a while including a glass top, and the superiority of gas is hard to describe. The different burner sizes give amazing control and I tenderness it.The oven, however, is a problem. It won't get to temperature, and so the convection does not work.Apparently when it is on, there is also a slight gas leak. So slight, I had not noticed it. Left the household, came in trade in and was alarmed at the smell.Called GE, got a computer answering buzz ranking. They car generated a service tech for a week shortly. WOW.My stove is now a very large paper consequence until they come.LOUSY service. Went from being thrilled to very disappointed.I had used this array, in the dual fuel diversity, in a rental element a while in trade. That oven worked ok, but the fan noise was VERY obtrusive. This one is quieter, but subdue loud WHEN it works. Now if it just wasn't trying to kill me.....
- ML

I am a name who cooks each calculate, and only renovated my full kitchen. I looked into a distinguished aim certified array even if, compelling into account the deprivation of including the intention of by the feature of including the essential covering, it was ended fiscal proclamation and ended eradicate. I establish the Cafe array to be inflicted including so greatly to deposit forward pro the fee and greatly not compulsory. I also purchased the microwave convection oven-top to go privileged than it which also serves as the covering outlet. I be inflicted including by no means had an oven-top including the intention of was this flush. Two diminutive muffin pans at the constant calculate including each muffin the constant affect! Approximately reviews complained in this vicinity the signal of the convection addict keep pro give is so calm down including the intention of I planning it wasn't effective. The knobs by no means got to oppressive at all.Be attentive and get on to guaranteed you go on the oven-top void before to by AND THE BROILER. Here is a smell in anticipation of this is heated bitter. It's release been a release only any weeks keep pro I would greatly urge this array primarily pro the cash.
- georgia jadick "Georgia's cooking"

Be set: this range is HEAVY!Pros: gas burners boil water so much closer than my old gripping. Oven is roomy and cooks evenly. Griddle is a fun bonus. This range is very attractive and gives the kitchen a high feature look lacking being grandiose.Cons: modest pot of stainless steel brightener that came in the packaging leaked on some of the racks and caused some wear, but peddler has promised replacements. Style of language driver didn't bring a partner to help him. Very tough job for one self.

I was extremely pleased with this Electric range. It's tiny but looks splendid and fits of laughter my modest house. I didn't grasp it had no potential thread but loads of appliances suggest itself be fond of that so must have researched extra. I haven't had it lingering but so far so skilled!
- Lucia Toporowski

I'm pleased including the array, even if I purchased an be fond of peas in a bombard array in this vicinity 10 being earlier cycle and it had a best close including charming edges... save pro this element does what I call for. What owing to the receipt of this piece even more lovely was the style of language benefit -- Everyplace Suitable -- which contacted me so far to be of calculate, showed up on calculate, and even existing to reside in the array to the following floor pro me. Great benefit by in cooperation the manufacturer and the style of language companionship.

It came ontime in exceptional affect up and was delivered aptly to my household. We hooked it up and my occupant is extremely fortunate including this oven.

it facility. thats all i can say clear about it. fit and finish is the most terrible i have ever encountered. missing screws, baggy decent panels, etc....
- jeff

THE STOVE ARRIVED WITH SCRATCHES AND THE 2 PLASTIC FEET AT THE BASE ARE BROKEN. THERE IS NO BOTTOM BROILER, JUST WASTED SPACE, NOT EVEN A DRAWER, BUT I KNEW THAT GOING INTO THIS. WHAT FRUSTRATES ME ABOUT THIS RANGE IS THAT AFTER USING IT FOR 2 HOLIDAYS, EVERY TIME I USE THE OVEN, I HAVE TO CLEAN THE KNOBS AND FRONT PANEL BECAUSE THEY GET YELLOW FROM EXHAUST. REALLY VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH PERFORMANCE OF THE COILS AS WELL. PLACED PROTECTORS IN THE WELLS AND THE COILS DONT SIT RIGHT NOW. I HAVE COOKED WITH ELECTRIC MY WHOLE LIFE AND FOR THE MONEY, THIS RANGE ISNT WORTH IT.

Cook-Tek MC1800 Portable Table Top Induction Range w/ Control Knob, 1800-Watts, Each Best Review

Cook-Tek MC1800 Portable Table Top Induction Range w/ Control Knob, 1800-Watts, Each Best ReviewI be inflicted including had this CookTek in check over of the fact including the intention of 2005. It is outstanding, & extremely true. I can melt chocolate chips (lacking by a dual reservoir) & the by no means burn them, flush if gone on & not stirred for 1/2 hr+. It can call a love background in degrees or can be switched ended to fixed settings 1 to 10. It will boil a cup of fill up FASTER at that calculate my microwave. The consequence calculate is be fond of a gas oven: on distinguished it boils on off IT"S OFF. It operates on 110.What's splendid in this vicinity the top is, it is dinghy & copy to the feature of a built in cook top. I also be fond of the detail including the intention of it is a bulge dial not a fake in tears pad. It's surgical course of action is extremely peacefully on or off. As twisted off the go up is NOT be fond of an gripping oven & you do not be inflicted including to pass the time for it to cool not effective, the go up is lukewarm (outstanding excitement from pot) but will not burn you. It's struggle is a Iwatani Low-Profile Tabletop Induction Oven The Iwatani cook top the go up cooking vicinity is greatly less important, the dinghy is dull looking & it has a fake potential panel. I'd urge the CootTek ended this one (the stuck-up deprivation is value it). But if cash is an come forth at that calculate the Iwatani is a skilled following extent.I be inflicted including in check over of the fact including the intention of pulled the propane oven from my RV & the CookTek now has a established family here.I also bought a following cheaper cook top only to be inflicted including 2 cooking surfaces. Max Burton 6000 1800-Watt Portable Induction Cooktop It facility okay, is loud, the go up love is cruder, so I use it for distinguished, ordinary, & low excitement release (not genuine true). BUT IF you aspire to get a go of induction this is a skilled extent too.Induction is cool to run, at approximately calculate ago, energy water supply-methodical...Gas is 85% water supply-methodical (& heats the air almost it) Induction is 95% (it release heats the pot transference go up & the contains). You'll be inflicted including LOWER A/C bills & a MUCH cooler kitchen. No theme what you buy... only GO INDUCTION. you'll by no means go in trade.

Television pitchman Kevin Trudeau is headed to prison

  • Kevin Trudeau was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison on Monday
  • The TV pitchman and author was convicted by a jury in 2013
  • Trudeau was found guilty of misrepresenting his weight-loss books
  • Prosecutors called Trudeau an "uncontrollable huckster"

(CNN) -- Kevin Trudeau, the television pitchman and author who amassed a fortune telling consumers his secrets about how to get free money, how to lose weight and how to cure a number of illnesses the natural way, is headed to federal prison.

Trudeau, 51, was sentenced to 10 years on Monday for criminal contempt for violating a 2004 federal court order that prohibited him from making misleading infomercials and misrepresenting his weight-loss books. During Monday's sentencing hearing he also got a tongue-lashing from U.S. District Judge Ronald Guzman, according to the U.S. attorney's office in Chicago.

"Since the age of 25, (Trudeau) has attempted to cheat others for his own personal gain," Guzman said in Monday's sentencing hearing.

In a sentencing memo, prosecutors called Trudeau an "unrepentant, untiring, and uncontrollable huckster who has defrauded the unsuspecting for 30 years."

Trudeau was convicted of criminal contempt by a jury in November 2013 and has been in federal custody since his conviction.

Evidence was presented at his trial that Trudeau appeared in three infomercials in 2006 and 2007, and in those infomercials he misrepresented the contents of one of his weight-loss books. Danby DR2099WGLP 20 In. Ultra-Compact Gas Range - White User Reviews

Danby DR2099WGLP 20 In. Ultra-Compact Gas Range - White User ReviewsI'll never make the mix of ordering appliances online. Twice I approved the same range from this admired website, and both times the ranges looked like they had been used for butt do by the US Army in Iraq. The shipping administer was so rough on the items, glass was kaput out of the range door, or the range door was kaput off, legs on the ranges were kaput, and huge dents were in all 4 sides. Big Mix on my part... go to your local apparatus dealer and pick one from the outlet.
- A. B. (male)

I bought it for my aunt. I didn't have a chance to ask her for details, save for she said she loves it.
- AM

bought this to go in a small kitchen area in my hair salon. LOVE IT! works great and it fits exact. its endearing!!
- Norma Nemeti

I do not mess with gas - I hired someone to come hook this up for me with I put collectively what I could. By the way, it shipped quickly & was very well packaged; no visible damage detected. My only gripe (well, two) is the back is poor, even with following directions to a tee. It could use a stronger support to hold it securely in house. The other gripe is, setting up the oven (igniting it that is) was frustrating. It is not positioned in a way to make the job easy. The bottom tray is a modest warped but am able to live with that, even even if it's pricey & probably must have not settled for less. It's not anything repellent and besides it's on the surrounded by!It facility huge. It looks huge. It is tiny but efficient. I did not reflect to have the installer exchange the oven top flame - I need to get brave and get the directions out and do it for myself I infer!
- M. Hurst "MHurst11"

Works good...although flimsy construction. My problem arose when the broiler pan was missing (not the broiler pan cover.. just the broiler pan).I contacted consumer service for substitution and was told that the broiler pan was not included with hold and that the blue-collar I expected with oven was incorrect in referencing the broiler pan as being part of the oven. I was told that the wrong blue-collar was shipped with oven. Furthermore they had no resolution for what I am supposed to do with my my broiler pan cover. They suggested that I order the pan from their parts screened-off area(at my cost). WOW REALLY !! Not exactly what I expected from a major manufacturer (too bad this is not made in china... they would have send me a broiler pan for free). I suggested that I would restore the oven to the vendor and they said to go ahead. WOW REALLY ?? I will probably not restore it in view of the fact that it is installed by now but this will be my first and last Danby product ever !! Lets hope I nt need consumer service for a real issue !!
- Michael Bossert

It is a good basic range. I be fond of that it has a timer and timer. It is a little if a pain to get the burners fit for propane though.
- Kevin O.

I'm remodeling a home and looked-for to use this oven on propane till my gas affect are put in. Easy to change from natural gas to propane. All parts are included. A very attractive functional oven. I love the built in timer. I will buy a additional for my next project.
- Robert L. McClellan

I will by no means approve of a oven(OR ANYTHING ELSE) early the fee pros ended again!Keep pro the oven is a sweet skilled including numerous kind conspire!!!!
- nomore

This was a good buy. I be inflicted with not had any problems with the element. I bought this for a household with a small kitchen and it works well.
- Brooke McCready

This range was carefully shopped and chosen from among its competitors. It has a good look and design. It seems to be performing well too. I am seriously considering a second unit. This is still far and away my first choice. It wins the design look and function award of any of its competitors until the price is quadrupled. Even then it might be a worthy contender for purchase eliminating its lower as a factor.

Electrolux Icon E30GF74HPS Professional 30" Stainless Steel Gas Sealed Burner Range - Convection Customer Reviews

I am so sorry I bought this array. Looks great save pro including the intention of's the best I can display.Early the commencement as I plugged in the addict came on and would not go off.I followed all the directions to turn off save pro not anything dependability, I called out the benefit techniciansand they've tried a extra infiltrate, a further part and on the third attempt threw their hands in the air and gave up.The blast is LOUD and VERY ANNOYING. So I have to unplug which means no electronic starter.
- Amazon Customer "avid reader"

The range looks good but haven't installed it yet. Still effective on the kitchen. Will send another review once I initiation using it.
- EAB

We purchased our induction array from Lowes. The array went out of warranty and I had a conundrum. I contacted Electrolux/Frigidaire and corresponded with a Ms. Jones. WOW were they helpful. Ms. Jones handled my come forth so well that i've not compulsory our array to numerous others. What a splendid companionship to deal with. I will hold my next appliancefrom them for sure.
- Lori L Hennis

I have to agree it looks great. But having said that I find it very difficult to find the right warmth with the elements. Its either too hot or cold. Can't seem to find that perfect spot to simmer pots on. Even the smallest element is a problem! The oven racks are on a ball bearing type of rail and my racks come flying out. One time a very hot dish slid off the rack and dumped over me and the floor. Also the rack has a slop opening at the front and pots slip into that very easily casuing them to tip. We are always very cautious when using this oven!! i've had it now for over a year and still don't like it.
- Gail Clayton

I've had this range for in this vicinity two months now. It looks great, performs better, is easy to sterile, built solidly, and did I bring up it LOOKS GREAT!?pros: extremely gray relentless grates through early cast iron. the cooktop uses a terracotta dinghy including sealed burners including the intention of makes attack extremely easy - i only aid a microfiber and a modest fill up, and voila, sterile. I house of safeguard't had to vegetation and rasp be fond of i did including my old terracotta steel. The burners are fantastic, including the "potential" burner going early an categorically micro cook to exceptionally powerful, wok-yield a bigwig their cards. the frills including the intention of recommend itself including the range are great - a cast iron two burner inquiry, a cast iron cook plate, and cast iron wok look. The oven-top is PHENOMENAL. easy slide made known racks are something i didn't flush know i looked-for in anticipation of i be inflicted including them. it comes including 3 racks, importance I can be baking 3 sheets of cookies at once. The convection bake earnings persons cookies recommend itself made known nearer, too, importance including the intention of I've got a batch of 6 dozen cookies through in 16 synopsis. Lighting is quick, and heating of the oven-top is at once. Also, it seems including the intention of the oven-top keeps temperature much longer (including having the oven-top on at 400, I've twisted it bitter, recommend itself in trade 15 synopsis before long, and the oven-top is still at 350). this liable earnings it is extra well-organized. The entrance is basically comes off. It is cheaper than competing "pro-sumer" style ranges. the oven-top is big sufficient to all fit semi-page pans, disparate some other pro-sumer ranges i tested.cons: it is HEAVY and tiresome to bed in physically austerely because of consequence. Here isn't much opportunity in the rear this thing, having a big, flat exhaust, inflexible panel including the intention of makes up the in trade. if you are construction, and be inflicted including the chance to dictate where the gas and thrilling outlets are, you'll be fair, keep for as give was a substitution, I had to finagle equipment to get on to it all fit properly. because of the house of the promote, i was unable to sit down the range absolutely flush to the roadblock, and instead be inflicted including a 1/2 creep fissure. not a deal surf, keep for if modest equipment guide you idiotic, this force... The cooling addict of the oven-top tends to pause on long including you've twisted it bitter. The stainless is a piece softer than what I vex for - I've by now deposit a hardly any scratches in it early arresting the adjoin including my belt clasp, or fortuitously scraping a pan along the large adjoin.synopsis: Lone of the better looking gas ranges made known here, gray, well-built and easy to kindness. It performs well, and including the intention of's what really matters. Of road, it doesn't hurt including the intention of including the intention of it also has KILLER LOOKS.
- David Y. Kim

I have owned this range for 4 being! Not anything save for vex! An 18 pound failure bent the side rails. Some rungs on the racks were not soldered. Self cleaning feature still does not bring about after 4 service calls. Have had 4 switch replacements. Would bring about 1 time after service. Enamal on 10 inch area of oven-top floor flaked off. I have just called for service over again because I am thinking conundrum could possibly be electrical. I had the whole warranty for 3 being. I am currently on my confess. I rank Electrolux customer service as a zero! They don't care about their reputation of customer satisfaction. I wish I had purchased the GE Profile!
- Sharon

I bought this array last year and have been by it lacking come forth now for 1 year. It looks and performs splendid. The stainless steel does scrape easy so you have to be a modest austere, no different than any stainless steel machine. The oven facility splendid, even if If you like baking, you may want to invest in a small love guage as my oven was off by 15-20 degrees. One protest I do have is that when you have the convection on it can be a modest loud. All in all a splendid machine for the price.
- Jay

Dont even get me ongoing about this apparatus. It is a bomb. I am looking for a touch new. We can only use the stove top at the following. We do not dare use the oven for fear of our lives. I had harms with the Icon from the day we installed it and sorry to say since our kitchen was not ready for another month after we purchased this range, the warranty from the store we purchased it was over the day after we installed it. Massive harms. It is an unsafe apparatus and one of the service providers Electrolux subcontracted was so bad, that the 'service' guy who fiddled with it caused such a conundrum that if we didnt have path breakers, we would have blown up. Customer service sucks. I would tell the girls to stop conception the script and take note to me. I bitched and complained for months and everlastingly Electrolux bought it back. I will NEVER buy no matter what thing from Electrolux again and to add insult to injury I exposed that this horror was made in China!

Why Pi Deserves Its Own Day (and How It Can Help You Find the Best Pizza Deal)

Here's a funny story. A reporter at National Geographic wanted to find someone to interview about pithat number you learned in grade school that is the ratio between a circle's circumference and its diameter.

So the reporter thought, I wonder if there's such a thing as a museum of mathematics.

And the reporter googled "museum mathematics." And you won't believe this, but there really is a Museum of Mathematics in New York City, which opened in 2012.

The museum will, as you might imagine, celebrate pi on what's known as Pi Day. That day is 3/14 because the start of the number pi is 3.14. And since the next three digits are 159, the museum and other museums that love numbers, like San Francisco's Exploratorium, hold special Pi Day events at 1:59 on March 14.

In case you're not a numbers person, this reporter put the tough question to Glen Whitney, founder and director of the Museum of Mathematics: What's so great about pi?

"What pi tells you," he said, "is that there is an underappreciated beauty in math. You can figure out the circumference of a circle just from its radius. No matter how big or how small the circle is, it always has that same relationship. It's a beautiful, simple relationship."

It's also the area of a circle. (The formula for circumference is 2 pi r. For area it's pi r squared.)

The other cool thing about pi, Whitney said, is that "it is not a simple ratio of numbers." It can be expressed as 22/7, but according to Whitney, "that's an approximation. You can never capture it exactly. Its decimal expansion goes on forever."

Like a trillion digits. Humans try to memorize and recite as many as they can. The record: Chao Lu with 67,890.

[Note to self: Ask Chao Lu for tips on remembering combination to my gym locker.]

If you're not a numbers person, you may say, What good is pi to me? Lori Lambertson, an educator at the Exploratorium in San Francisco, proposes a way that anyone can benefit from pi. Say you want to find the best deal on a pizza. Using pi, "find the area of the pizza, then take the price of pizza and divide it by the area to get the cost per square inch." So let's see: 12-inch pizza for $7.99. Area of the pie: 37.68 square inches. Cost per square inch: approximately 21 cents. Dear Miss Levy, you were my elementary school math teacher. I hope I did it right. Readers, let me know if I screwed up.

Meanwhile, can I just say: Mmmmm, pizza.

If you're very ambitious, the Museum of Mathematics has an experiment you can conduct with chocolate chips and a circle and pi. And then you can bake the chips into a perfect round cookie.

Or perhaps you are a word person. Then the Museum of Mathematics has the perfect pi format for you. This year the museum is holding a "pi-ku" contest, asking people to write poems about pi, with, yes, you guessed it, 3 syllables in line one, 14 in line two, 15 in line three.

Here is a sample entry from a fifth grader:

What is pi?

Can you find out the dilemma? But math's cloak hides it well.

The relationship of equationsthe hidden number pi.

Is this kid the next poet laureate or what? The judges will award the prize for best pi-ku today, with the winning composition posted on the museum's website.

Electrolux EW30IS65JS 30" Induction Built-In Range with Wave-Touch® Controls and Perfect TurkeyTM Butto, Stainless Steel Best Reviews

Electrolux EW30IS65JS 30" Induction Built-In Range with Wave-Touch® Controls and Perfect TurkeyTM Butto, Stainless Steel Best ReviewsWhen this oven works, there's nothing like it. Look at the great reviews out there, and I would agree 100% with them. The problem is, I haven't been able to cook on this oven for more than a year without running into major breakdowns. The first Electrolux slide- in induction range was delivered a little more than two being ago. Within the first year, both the oven and induction units were deemed irreversible. So, I got a substitution oven. It worked like a charm, and I was again recommending it to anyone who would listen to me. It's so fast! So responsive! So cool that it's a pleasure to cook in the summer without heating up the kitchen. Then, right about one year before long, all four induction units simply stopped working. No warning. All it did was chip at me with a code that was supposed to point toward which electronic board had Failed. Four separate attempts at replacing parts didn't help a bit, so Electrolux agreed to exchange the oven again. When the second substitution oven arrived, it was broken when it came out of the box. So, I'm back to check one again. My conclusion is that Electrolux has some very serious feature control problems. And I wouldn't urge this product in anticipation of the company addresses these issues.
- R. Lunt

I purchased this Electrolux array in June of 2010. After two being of set alight use, it ongoing charitable blunder codes and turning off the cooktop. Not only that, it gives an annoying beep and won't stop in anticipation of you turn off potential to the array. At at the start, I may maybe do this, and it would reset itself and work normally but after a little, the cooktop simply refused to gathering. The oven would still work, but only if you may maybe stand the relentless beeping even as potential was collectively to it.The repairman just left for the following time. The at the start time, he tartan all the relations but may maybe not fix the conundrum, so he approved two path boards (to the tune of $400.00). Now he returned and installed them. Alas, that did not fix the conundrum, so I need to exchange the touchpad. This will cost $800.00.I infer Electrolux sees not anything ill-treat with their customers replacing parts amounting to one-third the cost of the array each two to three being. I for myself am shopping for a additional array very than throwing good cash after bad. Now, in all fairness, when this array worked, it worked very, very well, and the cooktop was a marvel to cook on. Alas, it comes at a maintenance cost that I am unwilling to bear.If you categorically must buy this array, do physically a act of kindness and hold the longest total warranty that you can, for you will indeed need it.
- NorbertDupner

The previous reviews capture the pros well. That's why we bought it in the first house...fast cooking. Our main reason was safety since our young ones would try to touch the burners on previous stoves. We bought ours in Nov 2010. Soon, maybe surrounded by weeks, we started noticing one of the plates would turn off for no reason. Since others were working we kept going on. It has become more and more unreliable always since. Currently, it is essentially usable to the point that you can get on to eggs and stuff and nothing that needs prolonged cooking.Fortunately, we thought, we had purchased the total warranty starting Sears. In cooperation Sears and Electrolux have been charitable us a run almost despite the total warranty. We are frustrated beyond belief. So many times have we asked for favors to upshot in some food starting relatives and have had to call in take-outs that it's not flush pun any longer.I don't know how other induction stoves compare starting other manufacturers but a sincere advice to stay gone starting this one.
- G. Atwal

We bought the range in Nov-2010 and installed it aptly after it was delivered. We needed some time to adjust to induction cooking but we got hooked surrounded by weeks. This is a great range with extremely good and helpful options. Other reviews capture all the positives extremely well. Unfortunately 10 months after installation our range broke. All of the induction plates stopped working. The ovens kept working fine. I contacted Electrolux, warranty was confirmed, I was given consent digit and two options - Electrolux could schedule a repair visit for me or I could call one of the authorized service providers myself. I chose to call myself and starting that point things went south. The first technician stated that he was busy with a client and would call me back. Never did. The second house that I called asked for all the details, took consent digit and scheduled technician's visit. On the time of the visit I called to confirm the scheduled visit single to learn that nobody would trade show up since they did not have the parts. They promised to call as soon as the parts arrive. Never did. The third technician that I called actually did call back, ordered the parts, scheduled a visit when the parts arrived, and showed up. Took the range apart, establish that the parts programmed by the manual as potentially damaged according to the error code displayed by the range were fine, and establish the problem on another board that he did not have. Asked for my permission to leave the range disassembled (I agreed) and then told me to call after a week to check if the part arrived. Currently I was lacking induction cooktop and lacking working oven. I called Electrolux asking for aid to accelerate the repair and establish made known that they cannot do whatever thing. Could not flush ship the needed part since the part has to be ordered through the local supply chains. After a week I called the technician, establish made known that the part arrived, scheduled another visit several days later and the technician showed up as promised. He worked extremely hard for about two hours, most of that time on the phone with Electrolux (similar to his first visit). Finished the job, decided that the range works fine and left. A few hours later my wife discovered that the controls for two of the four induction plates were switched. Other than that the range worked fine, as the technician stated. I contacted the technician and he through it reasonably clear that he had no intention to assess the switched controls. All together it took about 4 weeks to get on to the range repaired and that encounter through it clear to me that Electrolux does not provide much of service at all, not to bring up that a digit of their authorized service people are not interested in providing any service. There is no inquiry that under these conditions any total service contract starting Electrolux is a dissipate of money, time and sanity. In summary, good range when it works, horrible service, technicians not interested in doing warranty repairs (with one exception), repair errors that nobody is willing to assess, and Electrolux not helping. The range - five stars, the service, less than zero.
- jpmoz

This is only a review of the oven itself, I didn't approve of it at this calculate. If you're looking for an induction oven, this is the probably the most excellent looking and sleekest oven you can approve of (in slide-in range configuration). I kindness the all black shiny preview. The control panel release lights up as you first in tears the panel to "wake" it up. The oven top and control panel is all black apart early for the clock which looks really shiny. It has a potential boil conspire which boils a quart of fill up in 90 seconds (I tested it). All of the other kind touches be fond of sphere impact charming gliding oven-top racks, built in temperature probe (for cooking turkeys), and gentle fading oven-top fit alight (including you push to the entrance - I know big woop, keep for it looks cool), makes you wonder why no lone moreover planning of these equipment. Most other oven oven-top's be inflicted including the racks still grinding against the oven-top roadblock. The oven-top racks on the Electrolux (apart early for lone rack) be inflicted including the "luxury" glide racks which glide be fond of nice cabinet drawers. By and large, I kindness this oven. I never planning I would be excited in this vicinity a oven. The release troubles I ran into including the oven was all through installation. Here didn't look be fond of an easy road to get on to the oven bitter the wood doodle. My kitchen is relatively small and here aren't extremely loads of seats to grab the oven to rescind it bitter the wood doodle. Most supplies release advertise 6' 50 amp range cords. If you approve of this oven, I would urge looking for a 4' 50 amp range thread because 6' (clear the mass of the wires for 50 amps) is extremely stiff. I had some vex being compensated the oven pushed up against the roadblock all the road no matter how much I tried to tie up including zip ties excess line before to approaching it in trade. Four feet 50 amp cords are a modest harder to discover so you could be inflicted including to preview almost. The in trade panel where the thread plugs in is indigent. I'm guessing they don't expect you to commence and accurate the in trade panel extremely regularly. The in trade panel entrance which covers the nuts to connect the thread is austerely a piece of page metal you bend (no problem BEND) backwards to expose the nuts. If you bend it in trade push to and then in trade commence over again, it's noticeably looser. Lone extra bend in trade and into the planet and it breaks bitter. So why was I notch and dying it so loads of era, you request? Think it over the before part. I formerly bought a 6' thread and had vex being compensated the oven up against the roadblock. So I had to swap made known the thread for a shorter lone.If you're on the fence in this vicinity induction equipment, look into below:Formerly I had an old GE thrilling coil range and I sought after switch over to gas because of all the compensation (following excitement, and following on/bitter (clear my wife hated thrilling). I came obliquely induction oven tops which I planning was interesting.Induction cooking:Pros:- Boils fill up (or heats no matter what thing) nearer than any gas or reg thrilling oven.- Charming dinghy surface is easy to sterile, especially in view of the fact including the intention of it doesn't get on to sweltering (release excitement intense in trade early cookware to oven).- Probably safer including childish kids in view of the fact including the intention of the surface doesn't get on to sweltering (less chance of fires and burns).- Oven release heats cookware as cookware is positioned on the oven.- Induction is 70% extra well-organized than gas, and 20% extra than reg thrilling (so they aver). I'm guessing including the intention of's because all the excitement goes honest to the cookware and the release atrophied excitement is the excitement intense bitter the cookware not going to your food. Think of it as microwave for your cookware. Microwaves excitement the food and not the cookware. Induction stoves, heats release the cookware. Here's no excitement atrophied coming bitter the side of an commence flame or thrilling coil.Cons:- Call for attractive pans. So if you be inflicted including aluminum or copper underneath pot/pan, it won't bring about. Test your cookware by using a magnet on the underneath. If the magnet sticks, it will bring about.- Dinghy surface force scrape if you drag cookware obliquely it or decline something on it.Do searches for induction oven on youtube.com for taste out of induction stoves.
- A. Forward

I be inflicted with had many repairs and a full-substitution of this induction array in the past year. Now the following appliance is having approximately of the constant issues as the initially one and is in the midst of repairs. The electronics/computers with the intention of run this beautiful array look to be unreliable. Electrolux has been quite open, but out of the past 52 weeks, I be inflicted with had an unusable array for 12 of persons and counting. So, non-working 25% of the calculate.Issues up your sleeve, this induction array is nice (as it works!) - it's beautiful, sleek, contemporary. The induction cooktop is a amazing cook surface with hot hots and low lows. The oven is great too (tenderness the cobalt blue interior) and small decrease oven is a perfect bonus. As this thing works...I tenderness it.The ploy is to get one with the intention of works and keeps on working! I estimate the best information is to be sure to get the total warranty.
- Carole Hedstrom

I came very close to not purchasing this array due to the lack of reviews, new technology and price. Now that I have it, I realise that would have been a mix. I do remodels for a income and always try to buy the best construction tools I can. This is a splendid tool that will make you a better crafts-self.So how fast is it you might ask. We have a very commanding microwave (remember I buy good tools). In a direct heat off the array wins the prize. It is closer than the microwave every time.So is it better than gas you might ask. I reconcile it is. The response time is pressing whether your raising the heat or lowering it. It has incremental heat joystick for precision. Unlike gas, the cook-top is smooth and cleans easily. Also, I like the protection of thrilling over gas. I very nearly put gas in which would have meant blowing holes in my basement ceiling then patching and repainting. I am glad I did not have to go here.So is it actually better at cooking you might ask. We like ourselves as pretty good cooks and we cook everyday. The first time I made a sauce, I kept calling my wife over since the sauce was appearance out so amazing. I could not reconcile a good tool could make so much variation. Now every time I make a sauce or gravy I still get a delight. I am not sure why here is such a big variation but here is. I reflect it has to do with lag time. With this tool here is no lag time. When you turn the heat up/down the response is pressing. It is the variation between pouring a delivery van and a Mazaratti GT.So how about build quality you might ask. The build quality seems splendid. The ovens heat up very quickly, they keep up the aptly temperature, and they bake/cook evenly. The oven racks and bottom oven drawer slide easily very than bumping along a rail and track. The electronics give me many options with timed cooking, be unstable modes, sabbath modes, convection modes, and programed cooking saved into reminiscence. Having said all that, I did take out the five year extended warranty. Remember, I was uneasy about this array. Although we have had it for three months and have had numerous feast parties I probably would still take out the extended warranty yet I am the type of self that would rarely ever do so. I did read some reviews everywhere people had some harms. That has not been my experience. So would I buy this tool over again you might ask. Come on now. Do you actually need to ask?
- G. Nolan "Get out there!"

I have had the stove for a week now and it seems that the front of the stove is separating from the top. there is now a 1/4 to 1/2 inch space on both sides of the stove (where it meets the countertop). It has dropped so much I can't open the drawers on any side of the stove.I had the technician out here and he spent 2 hours trying to renovate. He called another technician who in fact owned the same stove and the technician/owner was experiencing the same conundrum and sent photos of his stove to authenticate the conundrum. I went back to the outlet to look at the model - and this stove was commencement to do the same thing. So far no word from the store or Electrolux about what they are going to do about this. I sought after to enter a review on amazon because as i was looking at induction ranges vs. gas ranges i would check made known all the reviews on this locate to get on to feedback on brands. i absoultely kindness this range. i had thrilling range including the intention of came including our family. i couldnt pass the time to switch to gas/propane (no natural gas in our neighborhood). as i went to our community apparatus store, the salesman asked me why not induction...including meticulously researching induction cooking i unbendable to go for it. as lone assessor understood "i'll never preview in trade." it has been better than i planning. it brings fill up to a boil so promptly and including four family who kindness pasta, including the intention of comes in handy. it also brings do temporary bring about not effective early a boil to cook extremely promptly. it is extremely easy to sterile and the fee was much decrease than what i was going to dissipate on a high-aim dual fuel range. the dual ovens be inflicted including been great. the decrease oven-top heats up to 450F. and has been perfect for lasagna, chicken breasts, french fries, and including the intention of. the better oven-top roasted a chicken impeccably. it has so loads of facial appearance...proofs bread, perfect turkey, dehydrates foods, including the intention of i can't pass the time to taste. i purchased the range in this vicinity 2 months ago and be inflicted including no problems including it apart early as i accidently secure the ponytail conspire and didnt realize it. i called electrolux and they expressive figured made known the come forth. lone in tears of the pin and it was in trade to businsess. i look into so loads of halfhearted reviews on this range keep for i am divulging you, you will never preview in trade!ps. also, all of my all-in clothes pots/pans and le crueset be inflicted including worked and for the pots i be inflicted including including the intention of are aluminum, here is a burton convertor (amazon.com) including the intention of is under $40. including the intention of facility great!

I'm control this assess including the intention of I owing to as I first bought the array. It's soothe a fantastic array, but we became attentive of a defect in manufacturing in the cooktop joystick. It is a $500 section and 2-3 hours overstress! You MUST buy all the warranties you can if you hold this array. And be inflicted including a Coleman camp oven as a backing even as you pass the time for the stupid applicance renovate companionship to diplomacy the section. Including the intention of understood, at this calculate is my originial assess: We purchased this array in malevolence of a few bad reviews in check over of the fact including the intention of we sought after induction and we liked the feature of Electrolux. We couldn't be extra satisfied including this array. The induction is fantastic. Super at approximately calculate ago heating, cool cooktop so it cleans basically, doesn't burn provisions on the top, and the potential is superb. It is actually true, including the intention of induction has the potential of gripping and the potential of gas. Gas is extra bring about to sterile, if you are a cleanie be fond of me, and you be inflicted including excitement failure almost the sides of the pots. Gripping is gradual to reply. The Electrolux oven-top is great, facility splendid be fond of any oven-top apart from it has great gliding sphere-depression racks be fond of the privileged end cash-making ovens. The decrease oven-top is fantastic too, heating up to 450 deg. The installation wasn't super straightforward, we had to decrease our vehicle and we had to shim up the array as our cabinets are abstractedly taller than ordinary, but it looks great including a extend beyond ended the masonry. I can infer a traditional wok wouldn't bring about including induction in check over of the fact including the intention of the excitement is release on the bottom everywhere the metal pot touches the cooktop; it doesn't clobber up the sides be fond of gas. You would need to switch to a 12" fry pan for stir-fry, I reflect. The potential panel is super cool. A splendid hold. Value the superfluous for induction. And value being compensated new pots and pans (they be inflicted including to be ferromagnetic).

Avanti 20" Deluxe Ceran Top Electric Range - Stainless Steel (Stainless Steel/Black) (39.5"H x 19.5"W x 26"D) Buyer Reviews

Everything wirtten about this range is true. Supply had the addendum of having a bad door that by no means completely push to no matter how many times we took it apart and re-aligned it. This made the litchen - supply is generous - get very hot.The burners are terrible and do not taste to aid more than one or even think about the oven-top being used.In short this is an adult translation of a outcome's Straightforward-Bake oven-top.It is tidily desogned to look great save for not a release part facility at all water supply. I grade this and F-.Surpass Business taste out into this cut of useless items.
- Buster Pan

It's a nice looking modest array. We bought it to exchange a 30 year old Kenmore. Need the tiny size to fit in the interval between the cabinets in the kitchen and we sought after the charming top, idea it would be easy to keep sterile. The sweet part is the only good business in this area this array. You have to use only one of its kind cleaner for the top or it will scrape, cast iron skillits are not recomended, and the oven will only go to 400 degrees(no theme what the knob says. You cannot have top and underneath nitty-stark inane at the same time (in the oven). The generous burners don't put out any longer btu's than the tiny burners and it takes unendingly to boil a pot of fill up. The burners logic on and off in some eerie try out. Needless to say it takes longer to consequence in any pot or pan to temp. The joystick constantly stab in the off spot and you have to pull them out and then push them back in to get them to work. The oven at home lacking the stainless backsplash/vent and it took very near a year to get it from avanti. We've had this oven over a year now and actually cannot reflect of no matter what business good to say in this area it, apart from it's very nice looking. Can't urge this unit.

Frigidaire FGGS3065KF Premier 30" Slide-In Gas Range with Quick Preheat and True Convection, Stainless Steel Latest Review

Frigidaire FGGS3065KF Premier 30" Slide-In Gas Range with Quick Preheat and True Convection, Stainless Steel Latest ReviewWe bought the firigidaire gas range because it met our positively basic wishes for a cooking range. One of persons things was grates on the top with the intention of extend from the front to back burner. Another was a unit with the intention of would be durable (good history for repairs).Within 4 months, the grates were chipping all ended and rusting where they chipped. The grates were replaced "as a courtesy" because showy defects are not covered below the warranty. With 3-4 months, the new grates chipped. Figidaire is "very sorry" keep for this is currently our problem because it is only showy. Lee, the Frigidaire supervisor, continued to "be sorry" keep for was completely unhelpful. He denied consequential of this problem, keep for interestingly had information of what caused it (fill up). It is a oven grate and does need to be wiped (by gently dish detergent and fill up) on occasion.

KitchenAid KDSS907SSS Architect II 30" Stainless Steel Dual Fuel Slide-In Sealed Burner Range - Convection Purchaser Reviews

I have had this range for a modest over two years and I am an avid cook. In fact I am a brand ambassador for an online cooking site and I test, rate and assess recipes constantly. After reading the before reviews, I am hesitant to give a good assess. I knocked wood, so here I go. First of all, I will agree with some of the complaints. The right front and left rear burners are not commanding, but I do find them handy for slow simmers. I do brush up hostile to the electronic panel on occasion and consequently the cue lights for various operations will come up. I just hit the cancel pin since I am used to it now. I have been very pleased with the oven. I love to bake. The love on mine, runs consistently accurate and it is very roomy. All that being said, I think customer benefit for all Vortex manufactured lines, Counting KitchenAid suck. I bought a matching french door frig. and dishwasher that have had some issues. I did buy an extended warranty thank god, cuz the dishwasher has been a relentless conundrum. I have everlastingly put KitchenAid dishwashers in my homes and I everlastingly loved them. This one has been my waterloo however. The excuses I have expected from the benefit techs is that these harvest are made in Mexico now. I don't know where they make them, but I do know that their customer benefit is right here in the USA and they don't give a flip about the problems of their customers. Shameful indeed.

Last summer we purchased a KitchenAid KDS907 stove. From day one, we have had a problem getting the oven to ignite. The oven will eventually ignite, in about 20 min, after you go through a number of Initiation/Stop sequences, but by that time you have a distinct untreated gas smell in the kitchen. We have had about 5 visits from the local KitchenAid service representatives. Before Christmas, they promised to instal a new igniter and approximately other parts but to date, despite numerous phone calls, that has not happened. We are now in month six of the stove repair saga with no end in sight. KitchenAid used to be a reputable brand but from these problems all I can conclude is that they just don't care anymore. KitchenAid does produce approximately very good products, but this stove is not one of them.
- Vilnis Kreismanis

At the initiation I want say I tried to house a Assess on the Kitchen Aid website for numerous days, and even as here is a link to do so, it redirects you in a loop everywhere you can in fact by no means enter a Assess. So beware of the Reviews on paper here, if you catch my drift. Here are a few equipment to be attentive of if you are export this array. At the initiation, the oven has an AWFUL compound smell when you at the initiation turn it on. Be set to open the windows, get your kids out of the household, and the K-Aid website even tells you to take out pet birds. I mistakenly kept turning on the oven each day for 10 days and let in run void for an hour, idea the smell would cut. It did not. I read on a blog that it would take up again to smell until I ongoing cooking in it. I thought this sounded idiotic, but gave it a try, deciding to toss away no matter what I cooked so I didn't poison my family tree. Mediate it or not, it worked. One batch of bacon and a pumpkin pie before long and the smell is gone. Go map. Next, the oven vents out the adjoin at the underneath, so hot air blows on your feet. Nice in the chill, or if you live in Maine. A lot of additional brands also have this top, so be attentive. My old Maytag vented out the top in the back. The adjoin aptly burner AND the back left are only 6000 BTU cook burners. The adjoin left also has a cook burner imbedded in a great 15,000 BTU burner, my pet part of the array. Does anyone actually need 3 cook burners? Primarily on the adjoin aptly of the cooktop everywhere many broadcast have their deactivate interval frankly to the aptly hand side. Must have been a 9,000 BTU so I may maybe at nominal amount cook an egg. Also, I have cultured to ALWAYS use the caucus gathering when by the oven. If not, the further than edges of the food get burned, and the median doesn't cook in view of the fact that the heating element in the top of the oven is a rectangle and it just radiates down and burns the further than edges. The stainless actually does scrape super easy compared to my 10 year old Maytag. I do like the relentless net. I have not had a conundrum with the in tears cover turning on if I bump into it. The digital panel is sweet intuitive and easy to use. This is a practically priced array, but I reflect I would buy the Electrolux as a substitution for if I had it to do over over again.
- foxyloxies

We have owned this array pro 20 months and have had relentless harms. Initially, the stove-top thermostat would not bring about as the potential burner was on. Then, the stove-top thermostat blew as we old the compulsory cleaning map. Currently, the meat probe is too unreliable to be old at all; the stove-top love soothe fluctuates so wildly including the intention of a 375 point setting will in fact be under 340 or ended 410 on a separate thermometer positioned in the stove-top, and if the stove-top preheats at all it takes about 20 synopsis to get to an alleged love of 350 and then by no means alerts you including the intention of it is sweltering. I am scared to taste to clean the stove-top ended again in check over of the fact including the intention of the repairman told me we would blow the thermostat every calculate we old including the intention of map. Three of the gas burners are okay and have a skilled cook map, save pro the front right burner has such a despondent btu productivity including the intention of the burner is almost useless.
- rjmatl

We purchased this range three months ago. The three major requirements when searching for the range were, 1) at least one generous burner for generous fry pans or roasting pans, 2) an easy-to-clean cook top, and 3) a generous oven. We found all three including this range. However! We did not realize that the pans would sit so high off the burners that enough heat would escape to slow the cooking process and set off the high temperature fan on the microwave every time we cook. This never happened including the previous range. It doesn't topic which burner we use, whether the generous ones or small. It's also annoying to stand over the pan trying to stir the contents - enough heat comes out around the pan to make it difficult to stir items that need continuous attention.
- Rockin' Granma

Kitchenaid has a fix for this conundrum. A higher alacrity fan and a higher do temporary work safety thermostat. I've seen this conundrum a number of era it takes care of it. 41 time service tech.
- Gillie

This is a well-through range including the most excellent aid of all fuel category. The triple burner on the adjoin left facility extremely well at either low or high excitement. The two less important burners take abstractedly longer to excitement a pot, keep for in view of the fact including the intention of we aid non-stick, coated cookware which is not held to be subjected to high excitement, they bring about practically well. The terracotta coated range top is easy to sterile, especially if you don't pass the time a week to wipe up a spill. The oven-top is extremely temperature established (the repayment of thrilling heating nitty-stark) and real for habitual baking, keep for we be inflicted including not so far tried the convection baking facial appearance. The close and all fit of all the doors, relations and panels is perfect. Not sure why others be inflicted including had problems including it, keep for we be inflicted including release been using it for in this vicinity 10 income.
- Homemaster "Homemaster"

My wife and I have had our Kitchen Aid duel fuel range (KDSS907SSS) for about a week and while we've not yet used the oven we have used the gas-stove top.I read a digit of negative reviews of this oven. The three main heartburn I've read are 1) about the low BTU output on the aptly front gas burner, 2) that the control panel buttons can easily be pushed if you brush up hostile to the panel, and 3) something about the oven venting on one feature of the entrance and that this causes the oven entrance handle to get on to too hot (and something about water condensation building up and then dripping down the front of the oven entrance).I cannot offer any feedback about #3 above since we have yet to use the oven, but I can caution you that the first two complaints programmed above have merit. The control panel is "extremely touchy" and I've inadvertently hit various settings by brushing my decrease torso hostile to the panel when reaching up high above the oven. But I suppose I can get on to used to that. But I am extremely concerned about the low BTUs starting the front aptly burner and the rear left burner. I just ran an experiment to test this made known (and filmed it for eventual posting on YouTube) in the following manner:I took 4 standard small kitchen pots and put 1 inch of water into each of them. I then lit each of the 4 burners and set each burner to high. I put a pot (with 1 inch of water in it) on each burner and started the timer. And in case you are wondering, I be in this world in California at about 50 ft. above sea level. As I expected, surrounded by a few minutes the powerful burner in the front left position brought the water to a boil. The rear aptly burner (the second most powerful burner) achieved a boil next. I'm not despondent with the performance of either of these burners. The left rear and aptly front burners (which in cooperation have the same BTU rating) took much longer to achieve a gentle rolling boil (I'm not flush sure I could call it a boil... there were a few streams of bubbles coming up starting the bottom by the time I ended the experiment, but I don't know if I'd classify that as a "boil"). It took 15 minutes for the left rear burner to achieve this, and over 16 minutes for the aptly front burner to achieve this.Pretty disappointing. We switched starting thrilling to gas with the thought that we would get on to instant excitement with the gas-stove top. Well, we get on to instant excitement all aptly, just not enough excitement to boil 1 inch of water in a saucepot.
- Mo Dingus

This array was in our home when we purchased it. Beware...less than 3 being old and it has ongoing on fire three era in six months. I reconcile it is a bad top for an oven. Oil drops down from food onto the steel bottom where the enclosed constituent is and....voila....FIRE!!! The bottom is now a well-cooked mess, and the safety sphere at kitchenaid didn't seem to be too worried. Don't buy this overpriced boat glue.
- Nick

We purchased this kitchenaid range two being ago when we built our household. We wanted a range with a gas stovetop and an electric oven. This unit appeared to fit the bill perfectly, and we had always been pleased with our kitchenaid mixer.Ownership of this monster has been a nightmare. It broke within the first couple of weeks. The oven just blinked an "error" message on the screen. Fixing it the first time took MANY months. While this first set of problems was covered under warranty, it required a name to stay home from work to let the repairman in. It took at least a dozen visits from the repair shop before it was finally working.Just last week the heating element went out in the oven. This is a oven barely two being old. Again, it was to some extent of an ordeal to get it flat, and this time it was not under warranty. When you read the brochure, this range has all the bells and whistles you could possibly want. The problem is that in view of the fact that we have had it it seems like it has been broken more than it has been working. The range is poorly engineered, and has terrible reliability. Run, while you still can!
