How this made the Consumer Reports reccomendation is kind of weird. I have had very good luck buying appliances and goods based on their reviews. I bought the arcade series stove in stainless six months ago. I bought them for a house I bought to remodel. The Arcade series looked good but I would never buy the series over again. The diswasher had such terrible reviews I went a head and returned it for a Whirlpool that had high reviews and we are happy with it. The Stove and refrigerator are both near worthless and I would NEVER buy them over again.The stove has little plastic tabs on the underside of the grates that melt and also fall off way to easily. The space between the interior dinghy and peripheral dinghy has vents that allocate dust to infiltrate and you can't clean it. As the sun shines in all owing to the daylight all you see is a dinghy door that looks very dusty but you cannot get in there to clean it. TERRIBLE point! The "convection" fan sometimes never comes on as it is supposed to and additional times it comes on with a few summary with it comes to do temporary work and additional times it comes on right gone approximately calculate ago to do temporary work. Which is it supposed to be Frigidaire? The top is very tricky to clean compared to a ceramic flat top but I do be fond of the burners.The refrigerator is another influence somebody's leg. Provisions keeps freezing on the underside shelf and on the top shelf in the back left corners. I reserved adjusting the do temporary work up but the additional items be fond of milk and beverage were getting to lukewarm. I used my Thermopen(Purple one facility best..Inside influence somebody's leg for Competition BBQ teams) and the milk on the adjoin center shelf was 41.2 F even as the chicken breast on the underside shelf was 26.4 in the back and 39.1 on the adjoin breasts. Terrible air flow! Next problem is the ice maker/water point. The ice tray is crooked because they installed the track it slides into crooked. No way to fix it easily so we have to live with a icecube tray that looks be fond of it is vacant to break. The water comes out horribly slow. I am talking a minute and a half for big up a 20 oz cup with ice. The ice cubes are now getting hollow. it also stops working for hours on end. Sometimes it takes the icemaker 6-8 hours to dump one cycle. additional times it happens about each hour or so. I just heard it dump (which is LOUD!)and it dumped all owing to dinner 1.25 hours ago. Maybe will dump in a hour maybe 8, we never know. All we know is that it is 15 f further than right now and we don't use much ice in winter but we subdue run out each second or third day.The microwave only problem is the vent fan is SUPER LOUD! I am talking LOUD! You can barely have a exchange as it is on. And with the gas stove/oven if it gets to hot below the microwave it turns on it's fan by itself so there is nothing you can do to bring to a standstill it. It will go off by itself ultimately, but that is usually half way owing to dinner! I have in detail gotten into the cabinet above the stove and unplugged the microwave as we were ready to sit not working so we could talk durring dinner.We will be putting our house on the market shortly this year and I am looking forward to getting different new machine in our next house! - Aged Carpenter
