I was very intrigued by the dual array feature, which reasonably honestly worked splendid. But I would NOT urge this unit. I have only had my unit for 4 months & I have two foremost problems:The area where the hegemony panel is is "framed out" & this area gets completely scratched up by any pots or pans that are positioned on the rear burners (or if you place large pans on the oven too). Mine is scratched all the way across... looks dreadful for being strain new. Also, if you ever take place to spill anything (Maytag tells you to "avoid spills"), but if it happens to run off the front of the oven top, it take place to drip down the (2) doors, well, if it does that, it will then go into the grates on the top of the doors & then drip inside the schooner of the oven doors. Well, there is no way to clean this. (possibly a service call??)Needless to say, my strain new top of the line, dual oven.... scratched & blemished. Maytag will do not anything for me either.I encourage all to chose your next option.

My home burned down on December 31, 2010. As part of the rebuilding process, we approved new appliances for our home in September 2011. This array was one of the appliances we approved. I purchased the colorless translation of this apparatus (MGT8885XW). Like many construction projects, here were a lot of delays and we did not get a chance to bed in the new appliances into our kitchen in anticipation of April 11, 2012.When our new Maytag array was unpacked, we exposed that the colorless paint in the rear the potential knobs had chipped on the left side of the panel (an area two inches by three inches in size). Equipment like this take house, aptly? We left the array in its packing clarification and I called Maytag to have them any send me a substitution panel, or to have a benefit technician come out and exchange the panel. What did Maytag do? Maytag told me that even as their array was waranteed for one-year, flashy destruction was only enclosed for 30 days. I told the Maytag benefit self that the array had just been indifferent from its shipping container and was soothe wrapped in the fake shipping equipment as it had by no means been used. They "apologized" and told me that the 30 days ongoing from the day it was purchased, not when it was installed. In diplomacy to assess the conundrum I had to dissipate $115 to hold a new panel and exchange it for myself.Frankly, this is my at the initiation encounter with Maytag appliances, and the lack of feature potential and operational to rectify the conundrum by Maytag on a strain new array does not house me with a favorable depression. Not to bring up that I purchased numerous additional high-priced Maytag appliances by the side of with my array. Former to this, I had everlastingly purchased All-function Gripping appliances, and I by no means had harms. If I had to call GE, GE everlastingly stood in the rear their manufactured goods. I was apprehensive purchasing Maytag as they were an nameless amount -- now I know. If I were to do this all over over again, I would hold All-function Gripping appliances over Maytag any day of the week.I have yet to even turn this business on as I wait for my part to turn up. Let's hope it facility.
