The schooner top scratches easily. Any and all pan bottoms place stains on the black schooner. With a spill, the mess is impracticable to clean up without scratching the schooner. Plastic scrubbies and schooner top cleaners don't clean up spills. The array is harsh and makes a harsh sound when I upset it. (handles and emblems are the constant) It finishes the kitchen off nicely and if you understand that stainless and dinghy/terracotta tops are a piece of work to protect clean here are no surprises. This is a levelheaded array and would approve of one over again. As three stars suggests, "its ok"Even though this a 21st century cooker/range, its designers obviously long for the happy 60's of thier youth.And they have achieved this in this range.So gone from all additional from a few lights (I don't know even an LED !), and a not too good (cheap) ceramic surface this is a good solid 1960-70's cooker.I don't know in the near future we can peek forward to a 1980's style range which does not complacently click and hum to itself !i.e. clunky reins, but solid
