Hayden Panettiere reportedly pregnant with Wladimir Klitschko's baby

Hayden Panettiere is reportedly pregnant, expecting a baby with fiance Wladimir Klitschko, and if the past is any indication, she'll take her sweet time before confirming the good news.

"Hayden is totally pregnant!," a source told Us Weekly for a story published Wednesday.

News broke in March 2013 that the couple, who have been off and on since 2009, were engaged. The "Heroes" and "Nashville" actress, however, didn't bother to confirm her affianced status until a visit to "Live! With Kelly and Michael" in October.

The way Klitschko proposed was"very sweet and simple and genuine," she told Brides magazine recently (via People).

The two had broken up for about a year in the middle of their time together, saying it was difficult to have a relationship between two continents, but she went public with their reunion early last year.

Babies appear to have been on the actress-singer's mind for a while.

"Ive lived a very big life, and I dont feel my age, and I feel like I was born to be a mother. ... Motherhood is the most beautiful, exciting thing, and theres nothing that I feel like I cant accomplish while having children in my life," she told Glamour in May 2013. "I would sacrifice having more years of being wherever I want whenever I want for years with my kids."

As for a wedding, don't expect one soon: "Everything thats happening in Ukraine definitely put a hold on things," Panettiere told Parade in a May interview. "But we have time."

Her fiance's 42-year-old brother, Vitali Klitschko, was just elected mayor of Kiev. He ran in tandem with chocolate billionaire Petro Poroshenko, who on Sunday declared victory in Ukraine's presidential race.

Why Google may be buying Twitch

Twitch's iPad app lets users choose from a menu of popular mobile games.
  • Reports say Google's YouTube is in talks to buy Twitch
  • Twitch is a website that focuses on live-streaming video games
  • It has quietly amassed a huge audience in a short time
  • Analyst says move would let Google eliminate competition

(CNN) -- If YouTube is really on the verge of buying video game-streaming website Twitch, there's at least one reason behind the move that's as old as business itself: eliminating the competition.

Little known outside the gaming world, Twitch has quietly skyrocketed, claiming 43 million monthly users just three years after it launched. Those users, Twitch says, watch an hour-and-a-half of video a day, much of it live coverage of things like video game competitions and other players working their way through new games.

As it turns out, watching people play video games is a big deal on the Web. At YouTube, which is owned by Google, some players have amassed follower bases of more than 1 million people by posting video of themselves gaming.

So when an upstart like Twitch comes along, analysts say, it makes sense for Google to act.

"For Google, this is a defensive measure as much as it is anything else," said James McQuivey, a technology analyst with Forrester Research. "Google found early on with YouTube that play-throughs of video games were a huge traffic draw. If you don't watch those videos, you don't even know they exist on YouTube. But for people who watch them, that's all they see."

On Sunday, both the Wall Street Journal and Variety were reporting that YouTube is in talks to buy Twitch for more than $1 billion. Neither company was commenting publicly on Monday. Microsoft and Amazon are among several other companies who were reportedly trying to purchase the site.

More than just a place to stream video, Twitch has also succeeded at becoming a social network of sorts, McQuivey said. Comments are integrated into the site's videos, letting viewers talk with each other, or even the players themselves, as they watch.

"It's no longer just wanting to see how someone defeated the boss on Level 5," he said. "It's having that social experience and the comradeship of fellow gamers. Twitch has nailed that and if you're Google, you realize that people watching stale old videos ... that's going to dry up."

And on the Internet, traffic means money. Advertisers like live events because of the level of excitement they create and the fact that they can reach a target audience all at once, McQuivey said.

Twitch made headlines in February when a version of "Pokemon Red/Blue," a 1990s game for Nintendo's Game Boy, streamed on the online video platform for days, allowing more than 80,000 people to play simultaneously.

For Twitch, the appeal of an eight-figure deal (aside from the eight figures) would be gaining Google's arguably unrivaled resources to support and expand its site. In some ways, Twitch's massive growth in a short time has been a blessing and a curse.

Twitch generates more traffic than HBO Go in the United States and has tripled the amount of bandwidth it uses in the past year, according to Sandvine, a networking-equipment company.

"To be quite honest, we can't keep up with the growth," Twitch Vice President Matt DiPietro told The Verge last year. "That's a good problem to have."

Add Google to the mix, and that problem disappears.

"I think the whole concept started as a social experiment," McQuivey said. "It became a commercial business so rapidly that they weren't prepared and they didn't have the resources ... . When Google wants to care about the outcome of your business ... it ends up being a really good deal."

In this way, it's not unlike Facebook's recent purchase of Oculus VR, which gave that upstart maker of virtual-reality headsets access to Facebook's vast resources and user base.

Regardless of the outcome of this deal, McQuivey says live streaming is something YouTube is going to have to figure out. Increasingly, the entertainment industry is using live TV events -- from "The Sound of Music" to live voting on "The Voice" -- to attract viewers who have become increasingly spoiled by the overabundance of digital media at their disposal.

"The next thing you're going to have to get into is live-streaming your high school football game or you trying to conquer a new rail with your skateboard," McQuivey said. "If you can get into a world where someone wants to show off that they're better on the half-pipe than anybody else in the world, you could have a couple thousand people watching live to see if you can pull off that back flip."

International outrage grows for Sudanese woman sentenced to death for apostasy

International outrage is mounting over the death sentence a Sudanese judge ordered for the pregnant wife of an American citizen all because she refuses to renounce her Christian faith.

Meriam Ibrahim, 26, was sentenced Thursday after being convicted of apostasy. The court in Khartoum ruled that Ibrahim must give birth and nurse her baby before being executed, but must receive 100 lashes immediately after having her baby for adultery for having relations with her Christian husband. Ibrahim, a physician and the daughter of a Christian mother and a Muslim father who abandoned the family as a child, could have spared herself death by hanging simply by renouncing her faith.

"We gave you three days to recant but you insist on not returning to Islam," Judge Abbas Khalifa told Ibrahim, according to AFP. "I sentence you to be hanged to death."

But Ibrahim held firm to her beliefs.

I was never a Muslim, she answered. I was raised a Christian from the start.

Ibrahim was raised in the Christian faith by her mother, an Orthodox Christian from Ethiopia. She is married to Daniel Wani, a Christian from southern Sudan who has U.S. citizenship, according to sources who spoke on condition of anonymity.

"I was never a Muslim. I was raised a Christian from the start."

- Meriam Ibrahim

The cruel sentence drew condemnation from Amnesty International, the U.S. State Department and U.S. lawmakers.

The refusal of the government of Sudan to allow religious freedom was one of the reasons for Sudans long civil war, Rep. Chris Smith, R-N.J., chairman of the House congressional panel that oversees U.S. policy in Africa, said in a statement. The U.S. and the rest of the international community must demand Sudan reverse this sentence immediately.

Amnesty International called the sentence a flagrant breach of international human rights law and the U.S. State Department said it was deeply disturbed by the ruling, which will be appealed.

Khalifa refused to hear key testimony and ignored Sudan's constitutional provisions on freedom of worship and equality among citizens, according to Ibrahim's attorney Al-Shareef Ali al-Shareef Mohammed.

The judge has exceeded his mandate when he ruled that Meriams marriage was void because her husband was out of her faith, Mohammed told The Associated Press. He was thinking more of Islamic Shariah laws than of the countrys laws and its constitution.

Ibrahim and Wani married in a formal ceremony in 2011 and have an 18-month-old son, Martin, who is with her in jail. The couple operate several businesses, including a farm, south of Khartoum, the countrys capital. Wani fled to the United States as a child to escape the civil war in southern Sudan, but later returned. He is not permitted to have custody of the little boy, because the boy is considered Muslim and cannot be raised by a Christian man.

Sudans penal code criminalizes the conversion of Muslims into other religions, which is punishable by death. Muslim women in Sudan are further prohibited from marrying non-Muslims, although Muslim men are permitted to marry outside their faith. Children, by law, must follow their fathers religion.

Islamic Shariah laws were introduced in Sudan in the early 1980s under the rule of autocrat Jaafar Nimeiri, whose decision led to the resumption of an insurgency in the mostly animist and Christian south of Sudan. An earlier round of civil war lasted 17 years, ending in 1972. In 2011, the south seceded to become the worlds newest nation, South Sudan.

Sudanese President Omar Bashir, an Islamist who seized power during a 1989 military coup, said his county will implement Islam more strictly now that the non-Muslim south is gone. A number of Sudanese have been convicted of apostasy in recent years, but they have all escaped execution by recanting their faith. Religious thinker and politican Mahmoud Mohammed Taha a vocal critic of Nimeiri was sentenced to death after his conviction of apostasy and was executed at the age of 76 in 1985.

Ibrahims case first came to the attention of authorities in August, when members of her fathers family complained that she was born a Muslim but married a Christian man. They claimed her birth name was Afdal before she changed it to Meriam. The document produced by relatives to indicate she was given a Muslim name at birth was a fake, Mohammed said.

Ibrahim refused to answer the judge when he referred to her as Afdal during Thursdays hearing.

Ibrahim was initially charged with having illegitimate sex last year, but she remained free pending trial. She was later charged with apostasy and jailed in February after she declared in court that Christianity was the only religion she knew.

The US-based Center for Inquiry is demanding that all charges against Ibrahim be dropped, saying the death sentence is a clear violation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, which forbids persecution or coercion of religious beliefs and the right to marry.

Religious belief must never be coerced and free expression must never be punished, through threat of imprisonment, violence, or any other means, the group wrote in a letter to Sudans UN ambassador, H.E. Hassan Hamid Hassan. This cannot go unanswered, and the world will not stand for it.

Fox News' Joshua Rhett Miller and The Associated Press contributed to this report.

GE Cafe C2S985SETSS 30 Freestanding Dual Fuel Range, 5 Sealed Burners, Convection, Baking Drawer Best Reviews

GE Cafe C2S985SETSS 30 Freestanding Dual Fuel Range, 5 Sealed Burners, Convection, Baking Drawer Best ReviewsThe range works well apart from for some minor but grating commerce harms. The convection oven works well and baking is a breeze. The burners are sweet easy to clean, and the stainless top still looks good after four years of use. The brainwashing is easy and so far no electronic harms have cropped upNow for the grating harms...The front knobs are cheap fake with metal covers. We do a lot of bread baking at almost 400- 500 F. Over time this has caused the underneath of the knobs to melt. The front sight is not sealed accurately and steam and smoke from the oven gets in the rear the glass cover and obscures the digital deliver. This is being paid worse over time. The convection fan is sweet quiet, but if the axillary cooling fan kicks in it is very noisy.Seems like a range in this price range must have corrected these harms by now.
- bob coyle

My wife and I purchased a GE dual fuel array (cafe develop C2S980SEM1SS) and loved it aptly up in anticipation of the first bulge ruined on the oven. This was a indigent top including a metal semi-moon affect enclosed in a extremely watered-down and delicate fake cut. Consumer benefit claimed including the intention of they didn't be inflicted including a conundrum including these knobs contravention (scan: it should be YOUR flaw), and including the intention of the parts department would be fortunate to help us out as lingering as we had checks or confidence cards void at the calculate of the encourage. We had to pay a modest ended $66 for this first bulge. The substitution bulge at that calculate at home - it had been redesigned including a greatly sturdier stem cut. The bad hearsay was including the intention of it is also a less important diameter including the intention of looked out of house including the additional knobs. GE parts department seemed confused and claimed including the intention of they did not admit what moreover they may maybe do. Consumer benefit had by no means heard of any harms of this scenery. The following bulge ruined a few weeks before long and we were competent to weigh out the look of the oven knobs by replacing the median one on all feature. I wrapped approximately line almost the left over bulge stems to try to reinforce the fake. This worked for a modest ended a time. Now the third bulge has broken and I am, ended again, essential to pay $66 for a additional bulge. By the calculate we close this dance I will be out an bonus $396 dollars for the six knobs.I cannot in skilled conscience urge this, or any additional GE manufactured goods, including manufacture including this be deficient in of consumer vex. They be inflicted including an evident top flaw in the first manufactured goods and be inflicted including in check over of the fact including the intention of altered it. Yet, they curve down to acknowledge this and are requiring the previous owners pay a premium fee to fix their mix.Including the intention of being understood I infer this new develop of oven has redesigned knobs and will bring about water supply for you. The first business I would do if you hold one is influence a potential bulge off and see if it low-deprivation crap including the intention of is vacant to get on to you dissipate an bonus $400 in maintenance ended the being.

WARNING--DO NOT BUY FROM GE! All three of the appliances I purchased in November were defective in approximately way. The refrigerator arrived with a gash in the inside lining, the range leaked gas making it both unusable and highly treacherous, and the dishwasher made a loud blast and leaked water everywhere. GE's service policies are nearly criminal--I've been lied to by customer service in scheduling appointment times, and when repair men have shown up they've either passed the buck or, in an attempt to fix things, have made the issues worse. There is absolutely no accountability in the GE service process so they've just shuttled me around from one representative to another with no one effective to actually resolve the issues. They've used their one time warranty to hold me hostage since I've been unable to return/exchange the appliances for another brand, and when I call to nag they've only offered to extend my warranty coverage to two being, which only reinforces my belief that these problems will persist. GE's faulty products and horrendous service have cost me so much time and money over the past 3 months. I've wasted over a week's trip waiting for service calls, half of which did not arrive on time or resulted in damage to my floors and hallways. I've had to pay my own plumber and contractor to administer the service since the GE repairs led to other problems in the house. I had to cancel Prayer, Christmas, and New Being with family because I wasn't capable to prepare food, and have had to either eat at restaurants or microwave frozen meals for the last 3 months, all of which has cost me thousands of dollars that would have otherwise been saved. I've reached my breaking point, and while I can only continue down this fissure, I hope that this review will save someone else from suffering the same fate.

The gas burners are extremely kind including a wide array of love potential. It is a skilled looking element, too. Sorry to say here are a caution fair points including the intention of may maybe be stuck-up- the outlet fan including the intention of turns on as the oven-top is ended 400 is practically loud. This is a distinguished-end array, would it actually be inflicted including been so tricky for GE to discover a fan including the intention of spins peacefully? Also, in cooperation adjoin burners are generous even as in cooperation in trade ones are tiny. As a substitution for, they should be staggered so a tiny or generous pot can be in the adjoin.
- dcrobbins

I house of safeguard't had any reliability harms with this oven with five being. I had a Wolf before to and it had a lot of harms, counting one that the benefit guy said may maybe have caused a gas explosion. The oven facility well, the burners are sweet good for a home oven (I've cooked in restaurants.) Even if...when the oven warms up, it turns on an domestic vent fan. The fan blows in a roundabout way the aptly side of the oven and makes the two burners on the aptly side unusable even as it's in succession. This is a actually honest top blunder. Also, less important but soothe a conundrum - the decrease oven takes a very long time to get to any love over 275.
- Rimbaud "Very weird photographer"

Bought and installed this continue summer including a matching Cafe Advantium 120 ended the range. Disparate approximately other reviewers, mine came including heavy stainless knobs and reins, so no issues there for me. I'd like a less important burner up adjoin as water supply, but the overall BTU rating is huge on the better adjoin burners, so I'd imagine they opted for protection extremely than situate persons everyplace virtually an high cabinet or roadblock. Warming drawer is just including the intention of - you can bake in it, but it makes for splendid storage space while not in use. Gripping oven-top is perfect whether using it in convection mode or not. Cast iron grill ended the crucial top burner cooks an awe-inspiring steak as lingering as you're venting further than. For a 30" range, this is the best performing and best looking element I may possibly discover lacking spending ended $5k - and flush then I'd drop functionality and be paying for a first name.
- Roland Martin

I've had this range for over a month currently and am totally in love with it. There are several features that get on to it unique: the elliptical central burner & griddle, which get on to cooking bacon, pancakes, & french toast a shatter; the decrease oven that doesn't just warm foods but offers the full range of baking temperatures & enabled me to cook a casserole at the same time as a roast even if at a different temperature; the gas shut made known feature that protects starting someone's turning on the gas inadvertently (such as a toddler or an elderly person); and last but not smallest amount, the internal temperature probe that connects your roast to the oven controls and tells the oven to shut off once the meat has reached the desired temperature. Everything has been working like a charm. Apparently the knobs that another reviewer complained about have been redesigned because mine are solid and well-built. If you are a serious cook, buy this develop; I believe you won't be disappointed!
- Jane

Bought two of these ranges for our construction. Greatly be fond of the first assessor, we establish including the intention of, including 4 or 5 being, every bulge is at nominal amount cracked on in cooperation ovens, including three being unusable. Brute glue superfluous a month or two, but including the intention of's all we came up including. It everlastingly ruined including the burner on full potential. I had to rush to switch knobs including provisions ended the burner to curve it off. Be inflicted including yet to exchange the knobs due to their ludicrous substitution deprivation. Additional than including the intention of, a splendid apparatus.
- Salix

We bought the whole GE Cafe line when remodeling our kitchen. Yes, they are attractive but I can't urge anything! Refrigerator fill up dispenser leaks, dishwasher doesn't clean well (I miss my old Bosch), microwave potential is on steroids and difficult to monitor, etc. Planning the array was the exception to the problems, then the knobs ongoing falling apart. Low-cost plastic and very expensive to exchange. Customer service not caring, even seemed bowled over by the conundrum. I tell all who asks about our appliances "Don't buy GE!!" So far I've dejected two families from export GE with they heard about our issues.
- JMcKay

I purchased the satiated Cafe Run line and noticed a passionate gas smell including the array right away. The gas company confirmed it was leaking (their words: spewing) gas into my home. The retailer replaced for me thinking it was a stroke of luck... The substitution array did the same thing. The gas company said that at the amount it was leaking we were lucky our household didn't blow up. Our retailer has removed from their floor (and confirmed other customers had the same issue) and replaced all our GE kitchen products in the most apologetic way.GE consumer service was not responsive to my concerns and sent a form letter apologizing for the "trouble." I will NEVER buy GE again. This model should be recalled. Shame on GE. KEEP YOUR FAMILY SAFE - DO NOT BUY THIS RANGE.

St. Louis Rams St. Louis Rams draft Michael Sam, make NFL history

ST. LOUIS -- In the war room, history came suddenly.

With the clock running out on the seventh and final round of the 2014 NFL Draft on Saturday evening and the St. Louis Rams holding two of the last eight picks, Rams coach Jeff Fisher turned to general manager Les Snead and team president Kevin Demoff and said, "Let's go get Michael Sam" -- and the NFL changed forever.

St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher says he had been thinking about drafting Michael Sam for several days. (Michael Silver/NFL)

When Fisher announced his intention to draft Sam, the former Missouri star hoping to become the NFL's first openly gay player, there was a perceptible buzz in the Rams' war room, largely because no one else saw it coming.

Sam, the 2013 SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Year, was not rated highly on the team's draft board. An outside edge rusher viewed as a "tweener," meaning he doesn't necessarily fit as a traditional NFL defensive end or 3-4 outside linebacker, Sam didn't seem to be a logical fit for a team that has a pair of highly regarded defensive ends in All-Pro Robert Quinn and Chris Long.

Late Friday night in Fisher's office, as the coach met with Demoff and Snead, the subject of drafting Sam came up, and it was quickly dismissed. Yet privately, Fisher was contemplating the possibility that, if Sam remained on the board in the draft's latter stages, he could simultaneously get value and strike a blow for acceptance and respect.

On Saturday, as pick No. 249 neared, Fisher decided it was time to welcome Sam to the Rams' family. He called Rams owner Stan Kroenke and told him of the plan, receiving a favorable response.

"Stan was all for it," Fisher told me about 30 minutes after making the pick. "He said, 'I like it. Let's go for it.' "

And once the Rams were officially on the clock -- and Sam remained undrafted -- Fisher went for it. First, he had a very brief phone conversation with the player.

"It wasn't much," Fisher said. "He burst into tears, and he was so emotional that he really couldn't speak. It was a cool moment."

Fisher then instructed the team official in the back of the war room who was communicating with the league official at draft headquarters in New York, "Turn in Michael Sam, please." Then, specifying that he wanted Sam to be the first of consecutive picks (with Tennessee State center Demetrius Rhaney to follow), he said, "Michael Sam first."

At 5:48 p.m. CST, the pick was called in, and the war room grew silent. Fisher rose from his seat and walked over to the pair of large television sets in one corner of the room, and scores of coaches, scouts and other Rams officials joined him. A couple of minutes later, when the pick was flashed on the two screens, the room erupted in applause, and Fisher began receiving handslaps from nearly everyone in his vicinity.

A few minutes later, as he paced excitedly around his office, Fisher revealed to me that he'd been privately considering the Sam move for several days.

"I've been thinking about it," Fisher said. "Look, he's a good football player. We're glad to have him. We got better when we took him. And we're gonna do everything we can to get the most out of him. It's exciting."

It's also historic -- and until about 15 minutes before history was made, only one man had a clue what was about to happen.
